Close Enough to Touch!

First week of September, and this bull was plenty vocal, but he wasn't too interested in coming in or letting us get close.
•
When he turned to head up the drainage toward his bedding area, we pushed in. After 500 yards of pushing, we finally crested a ridge and ended up inside 120 yards of the bull. One challenge bugle was all it took at that point, and his interest level went from 0 to 60 with the flip of a switch!

Man I've watched hours of your videos in the last 2 weeks ,really been enjoying it. I need to find a good low land OTC public land to go try elk hunting. Covid screwed my lungs up so I move alot slower than I used too in the woods but I still love it so much. Maybe next fall.
