  • Hello everyone.
This week, I uploaded a video of "Walking The Cup Techniques" in the form of a #shorts video about "Walking The Cup Technique" of weaving while rolling a nozzle, which is one of the basic techniques for TIG welding.
This technique is also called weaving, rubbing, rollin or rolling.
If you like this kind of short video, I will upload it occasionally in the future.
    Thank you for watching.
    Have a nice week.

    Hello brothers.
This week, I uploaded a short video of the "Walking The Cup Technique", which is one of the basic techniques for TIG welding, which is weaving while rolling a nozzle.
It is also called weaving, rubbing, rolling or rolling.
I hope that this was a little reference to my brothers who practice welding.
I'll upload this kind of short video from time to time as well.
Thanks for watching and have a great week.

In 1st year of welding school my instructor came up behind me while I was trying to weld and he was looking through his own helmet and grabbed my hands and started welding for me so I could feel the motion and as soon as he let go I had it down. After that everything else was so much easier. Legend of an instructor. This was a good clear video, reminded me of that instructor.

Walking the cup is not allowed in aerospace or on any weld test. It puts too much heat into the material. I walk the cup freehand which is more difficult. I only walk the cup to get a flush weld that needs more filler material. I need a flush weld so there are no low spots when the finishers grind my weld off. Walking the cup serves zero purpose on a scientific level whatsoever hence the reason you cannot do it on tests.

dude, if you got your own welding channel, which im sure isn't half as big as this guy's, then do your so called "scientific" weld there! don't be the only douchbag in the comments saying he's doing it wrong! because unless he he's welding a fucking spaceship, im sure his weld is perfect! and id add, most likely better than yours, which is why your talking shit on his video. always gotta be sissy keyboard warrior in the comments. just enjoy and move tf on!

      @darrenwalter557 2 года назад

Sewn together would be having a very small amount of material interwoven between two things. This is melting the two things to just the correct depth and letting the pools combine and re-solidify into something that is now just one thing with no boundary between what used to be two things. It is now only 1 thing.
