Thanks for this! We have a small community and it’s my first year doing CC and I got roped into tutoring so your video was super helpful to help me understand how things need to go.
Natalie S I am sure you will be awesome! We were at a small community our first several years and there is a real beauty in the relationships that form!
Thank you so much for your videos! I'm a brand new CC parent who has been asked to tutor as well (we're a new community) and I have zero idea what I'm doing. You have been a HUGE help to me!
I am so glad! I jumped into tutoring half way into our first year and just felt like I barely survived! Props to you for going all in! You’ve got this!
New to CC, homeschooling and tutoring; loved your video and have my first community day tomorrow. Thank you for making these videos; I'll definitely be checking these out as I prepare for a new week. You mentioned in the video that you found the "how to say it" sticks in different places. Do you happen to have a link to these? Thank you!
Thank you for the video! I love this! I like your latin suggestions with the laminated cards and placing it all over the room. Curious though, do you first introduce the grammar before having them guess what the english is?
Cris Villarreal yes! I go over it a couple times and then I had them get up and find the words. I gave them hints like “it’s on the blue card” or “it starts with ‘b’”
Thank you so much for making this video. As a first time tutor I am super grateful! Where do I find the what to do/ how to say pictures? I looked on Pintrest and I was able to find some movement cards, but they were very large.
For some reason I can't get the science link to pull up. Would you be able to tell me what to Google? I can't get the right phrasing to find anything similar. Thanks so much for your help with these videos. It's my first time this year in CC and tutoring and this puts me at ease!

Hi! I create a playlist of any CC songs the go with the weeks we are reviewing (history, math, timeline and sometime Latin). I let the kids pick a puzzle and quietly work on it while we listen to the memory work. They rule is they can only be talking if they are singing along. Once we get through the playlist I use my flash cards to cover science, English, and geography. When they finish a puzzle they put it back in the box/bag and can bring it back to me and pick another.
Julia Mederich I have 5&6’s this year. I gave them hints as we were doing it. So for example I would say ‘per’ and then say ‘it’s on the green card!’ And when they got to the card we would say it together. “Per-By!” Or I might say “‘a’ it starts with ‘f’” and they would run to the card with a word that started with F and we would say them together “ A-From!” I don’t think all of mine are reading and they were able to do it. Hope that helps!
This is my first year with CC and I am also tutoring. My group is 5+6. Do you find that for this age the hand motions are not too much/detracting from learning the timeline song?
UnBoxing Jon - Family Edition! Well thank you! That is very kind of you to say. Unfortunately, I am married and kinda really like my husband so I am not taking proposals at this time. 😉
Thank you! I love the idea of the dry-erase laminated construction paper for the Latin!
As always, Thank you very much, Mrs C!

First timer here... when you are going through the new grammer do you play the games/sing the song more than once for each subject?

MrsC Please will you share how you do review. Like a demo video. Would really appreciate it.
Sure I'd be happy to do one- any particular game or activity you would like to see?

@@lovemrsc84 awesome. Thank you so much!
How old is your group? Do you think 4&5 year olds could do your Latin game? I don’t think any of them are reading yet.

Would the puzzles be too easy for 9 year olds? I really love this idea! Thanks so much. Looking for moire cycle 3 videos!
what are nicolium sheets? Thanks!
Christa Noland hey! They are science pages done by a CC mom names Nicole Liem. You can find her stuff on CC connected I believe.
You are very pretty and I want to marry you.
