Mount Saint Helens blew it top of ash and had very bad mud slides. Inches of ash fell as far north as Idaho into canada.I was there and still have ash. It was a dark Sunday as the ash covered the light of the sun. Wow what a memory. We wore masks to keep the ash out of our lungs that took 20 years to go into the ground due to being very buoyant.
