Summary: Flip the Frog is a game hunter in Africa. He has an encounter with some cannibals who take him to their king for dinner. Unfortunately for Flip, HE is the main course.
i remember when these were on WABC-TV,ch.7's daily"cartoon festival"show at 7:00 am on weekday mornings when i was little.if there are any other new yorkers of my generation who remember that show and the"flip the frog"and"commonwealth paul terry"cartoons they had,please let me know!

I never thought frogs were stupid? Or cats, or mice, no, UB did not support racist stuff, he was a cartoonist. People internalize things that become racist. Or at least speaking for myself I did not get a racist message nor do I now subscribe to any thoughts that any group of humans are inferior to any other group. I do not deny racist evils, plenty of of that exists still today. But Woopi Goldberg said it well in the Loony Toon intro. This is history, we all need to be wise..
Why is this not on the Censored Eleven? "Hittin' the Trail for Hallelujah Land" could easily be swapped out (and edited) in favor of it. "Jungle Jitters" and "The Island of Pingo Pongo" were on there...this is as offensive as those were.
This is just hitting on the three cannibal tribes of Africa and “Hitiin’ the Trail for Hallelujah Land” the way it is strangely enough is the edited version is was originally much worse; so bad in fact even people back then refused to watch 5 seconds of it before walking out of theater. Jungle Jitters was kinda tame like this one though there is a old Mickey Mouse one that needs to on there I think you know which one I’m talking about.
