Great singer, great person. Almost 69 and still looks awesome!!! I think it's so awesome that he's open about his depression. I feel such a connection with him.
As someone who has dealt with depression since I was 13 ( so, for 30+ years now...gasp) you're honesty & humility is a gift to those who are silently trying to endure & get through their lives with the darkness that is within them. I still have a place in my heart for you (since about 1980 or so LOL) & I wish you peace. Thank you for sharing your down-to-earth, hard-earned wisdom with such compassion & empathy.
I have been a fan since I was in high school. I finally saw him in concert a few years ago. I had a panic attack because the crowd began to push. I made my way to the corner of the stage and the guitar tech asked me what’s wrong for I was crying. He let me see the concert from a corner of the stage. I quickly met Rick. He played guitar while I held on to him. I will never forget his kindness. He’s such a talent. A beautiful soul. ❤
Rick rocks in more ways than one. He has had so much and is worshipped by his fans, and yet comes out and shares his long-term battle with depression. This openness and honesty has undoubtedly helped many people and probably has saved lives. Rick gets it....... as great as Jesse's Girl is, being willing to share his story and help others suffering is a higher calling. His story has helped me and I want to say thank you Rick.
@RickSpringfield-ym1bd I'm from Metairie, LA. Thank you for letting me have this time to talk to you. I absolutely love listening to your music and watching you on General Hospital.

No accent when talking to an American host?.....I would call that an American accent. However, I can hear his Australian accent in this interview mixed. He is from the same area in Sydney as I grew up in, so i can really hear it in his voice.
@@rustyblades2566👍 I hear it as well. 😉 When I’m around ppl w/ a southern accent I slip n2 as well & I’ve never had a southern accent. Grandmother & other family members yes but not on a regular basis. Also my ex noticed when I was tired I had a slight accent which I hadn’t noticed. 🤷🏼♀️ I think some ppl r more prone to it 4 some reason.
Too much plastic surgery I think, it's showing now. But seriously, I'm not surprised his wife held on to him through the unfaithful years. He's worth it.
Rick is one genuine human being who cares for others and shares his life with dealing with depression. Thank you, Rick!

Great songwriter and performer. I wish he didn't do anything to his teeth.
Rick, Jesus Christ can deliver you from "mr d"

HE HAS NOT HAD PLASTIC SURGERY PERIOD.
He hugged me at a concert two weeks ago. He STILL looks gorgeous as ever!
NOBODY IS WORTH THAT!!!
@@DENIEL381 Yes, it is mentioned in his book. But who cares.
@@DENIEL381 he says in the book that he did and it was bad. He booked a second appointment but never went
No one's going to mention his weird neck issue? Rep.
