You can just tell Evans is a walking bucket, but he seems a little small (skinny) out there. But you can just see that he and Kon know how to play the game the right way.
Playing against James and Gillis in practice should really benefit him to prepare for the physicality of the college game compared to HS… he’ll learn quickly how to use his body and how to create space vs stronger/older opponents.

High energy and showed his full game what are we talking about here???? Guys he is not overrated like he’s the real deal! Sion James, Maliq brown, khaman maluach, and especially foster will be good as well I think he’s better than proctor if we’re going basked off the scrimmage.
imo if proctor doesnt bring a veteran presence to the group they not a final 4 team. sure they have mad talent but we all know a team of solid veterans could test young talent's chin any given night.
also dont let the fact we really aint seen Cooper in depth dissuade you from thinking he will be a college success. just by the fact he been a menace on both ends of the court i feel like he will do well in Duke.

I was "privileged " to see most of this scrimmage. I can not question your opinion, but I have to ask, " What scrimmage dud you see where Cooper Flagg was "not" effective?" At 6'9" Cooper is clearly in a league of his own! I agree totally with your thoughts on the other players. However, your thoughts on Flagg do not match your other thoughts on Duke's scrimmage. Makes one think you have a problem with Coop!😅

Coop is fantastic. Even when he doesn’t score, he does so much more. His jump shot looks VERY fluid. College bball is in trouble

Traditionally, I’d agree with you because they’d be going up against other teams that have been playing together for a longer time…. the portal era has changed that dramatically. The college landscape is nearly void of veteran teams that have been playing 3-4 years with each other.
Primary ball handlers are the returning Jr and So and that’s about the best a perennially ranked team can ask for- integrating several new teammates is mitigated by having vets.
As for the championship itself-the single elimination format has always been the biggest factor for taking the field over any individual favorite.
Your take on the video is unsophisticated. Maluach didn’t play any D. He’s too slow & gets pushed around. Did you happen to notice that he only had 1 rebound? Sion James was one of the most outstanding on both ends & you don’t even mention him. And you show no appreciation of great basketball talent in calling Flagg a role player. What video were you watching? He was the high scorer (with 15) in the scrimmage - scored 3-3 pointers, a mid-range jumper, a short shot off the backboard in traffic, and a drive & dunk (blowing by Maluach like he’s standing still). He also guarded the point guard on every possession. You don’t understand his career at Montverde either. He led the team in scoring, rebounds & assists. His numbers were not off the charts, because he was playing with 7-5 star players & he is a consummate team player. You must not have noticed that he put up 32 to help Montverde beat the Boozers’ team in the semis of the National Tournament, his play at Peach Jam last summer (which was perhaps the best individual performance ever), and that he led Team USA in Nike Summit this year with 19 & 11. Role player? You have no idea what you’re talking about.

Do you not understand that getting to the Elite 8 would be an impossible dream come true for most of the division 1 teams in the country? You act like it's a bad season, when it means that you are one of the 8 best teams in the country. Would I like to see Jon hang his first natty banner in Cameron? Of course I would, but I don't think the season will have been a failure if they don't. Go Duke!!!
