Edwards did a hell of a job on Siegrest....you cant ever shut down a player like that you can only limit their touches..she also played her a@# off on the offensive end.
Listen to those commentators. They didn’t have a comment on UConn’s performance that didn’t contain a snarky side jab. But they fawned all over every LITTLE thing they could find to praise Villanova for, and that’s tough, because Villanova didn’t have much to be praised. We UConn fans hear the bias all the time. It just gets old people. Get some commentators who can call a game neutrally.
The last time I analyzed a game between Uconn and Villanova I was trolled heavily by a fan or a supporter for Villanova. My complete analysis of this game is both teams were fatigued but Uconn ran and made for set plays than Villanova. However my deepest opinion is that there is bad blood between the two teams. Maggie winning MVP and Paige's popularity.
I might add that Maddy Siegrist said that the reason Villanova lost THIS game is that they "just didn't make shots" like they did in the 1st meeting. Uh-huh. Sounds like sour-grapes to me.
this is the third time I have watched this wonderful video of these great Ucon players, and unfortunately the third time I am going to turn off the volume so I don't have to listen to the TERRIBLE announcers........ DAMN........... take a breath, call the game and quit trying to fill every gap with your voice......I DON'T CARE WHAT YOU THINK!!!! I CARE ABOUT THE PLAYERS ON THE COURT....
