The only correct way of responding, is to be supportive of their choices and let them live their lives how they want
It is not correct to insult them for their preference in what they wish to be identified as, make fun of them, and act like your opinion of what they should be identified as, is the correct way for them to identify.
And it's most certainly not okay, to threaten them that you'll kick them out of the house, because you're the head of the house, and you still live in 1805 where being attracted to the same biological sex, or wishing to be identified with different gender was still bad.

I'm totally not mad because my father STILL can't accept that I identify as nonbinary, or that I'm graysexual 98% of the time, with the Remaining 2% being between gay and straight depending on the situation.
And I'm totally not upset he keeps bringing it up in every conversation, just to piss me off, so he has the 'High ground' when I inevitably start raging, because "it wasn't him that snapped at me first and is his house"
And before anyone tells me I should just move out - if it was that simple I'd not be ranting here

I’ve always been able to just spend hours dressing up characters to display different personalities or looks. Even if a game has limited customizability I will spend the majority of my time messing around with it. It’s honestly so much fun lol

I drew my own versions of these characters, and I feel like as you went down the line, your designs started gradually looking less and less like mine. However, I am very pleased that we both put Atticus is green braided sweaters. It's not up for debate, that's just what he wears.
