I was right at the front just to the right of the drummer. Did security that year. This was the last day we did any work and just joined the other festival goers for the next two days. Best 4 days of my life.
Yep, Clune and Bradshaw were shown "the door" when they upstaged Gray. A very sad situation, and one that led to the downfall of Gray. His live appearances are now very boring and ordinary.
@@dcomer69 Not sure that's the case for the drummer nowadays! check out his latest live performance on the one show, and it looks like the drummer you mention and is in this performance.
I was there and after a long fuzzy day feeling tired and emotional Mr Gray BROKE MY HEART IN THE MOST PROFOUND AND AMAZINGLY GREAT WAY. THE ONLY TIME IN 7 GLASTO'S I HAD TO PHONE MY MUM AND JUST TELL HER I LOVE HER. WOW MR GRAY IS SO INSANELY GOOD. LOVE HIM. THEN SAW HIM LOCALLY IN A LITTLE VENUE AND HE MADE THE ENTIRE CROWD DEADLY SILENT FOR AN HOUR IN ORE OF HIS TALENT
Thanks so much for posting this. I was there and in my memory it was brilliant but had never seen any footage until today. This clip confirmed it was in fact brilliant! Cheers
I missed you early this year in 2024 in New York. Have you ever thought of coming back to The US ?
I love this song. I know I'm not alone in that thought.
Damn..20 years, still love you. Loved this song..still do. ! ❤❤🥹🥹🥹

Drums and electric guitar transformed this song for me from boring to emotional and kicking.
@@dcomer69 how did they upstage him & whose decision was it to get rid of them

@l0l4d4 Sadly no. It just part from the end of a tape that runs out about 10 minutes in.
Five words. David Gray - Austin city limits
