I know how you feel. I can hardly believe I knew him when I was 16 and he was 17. whats harder is, that I only just worked out who he is now, despite listening to White Ladder an awful lot. I don't know any DG fans. Never been to a concert, yet his voice echos down , from 40 years ago , from 20 years ago, and now, when I rediscover. He is a truly a lovely man. I can not begin to say what he did for me when I was 16. I will never get the chance to thank him, i think. Thanks for reading as I feel so very alone with these thoughts.
