@Girdz17 I understand what you're saying it does seem like there is no difference but as someone said because of the difference in hair texture it makes it "different". As a black female I find it easier to cornrow black hair than white hair because black hair generally is easier to grip because of the texture. Also it generally doesn't have as much movement so it won't slip out of place as much. So it is different when I cornrow my white friends' hair than my own.

Oh my days!! This has got to be the best "how to cornrow" video that I've seen after searching for months to find a way to cornrow white peoples hair.. If I would have known to take the hair and add it to the middle, I would have been doing it by now. This was so easy to follow and I cornrowed a bit at the front of my head while watching it.. Thanks so much for this superb video (y) ;) x

Caucasian here. Just braided my 6 yr old granddaughters hair to the scalp in rows . Oh my goodness it looks so good. I told her she had to wrap her head when she slept. Lol. That braid and loc butter is a must to hold hair together making it successful.
The hardest part was getting her to work with me by holding head a certain way with whatever direction needed to keep braid tight.
I LOVE IT AND I CANT WAIT FOR HER TO ROCK IT TO SCHOOL !

I got my hair braided every holiday in the Caribbean or when we went to Africa!
I loved it - the women who did it would let me choose beads and I always got it cornrowed straight back to my crown then it would fall in braids. I went back when I was 13 got it done again. Everyone in school wanted it but I was like "sorry! gotta go to Cancun!"
I need to braid peoples hair for our dance show your video has helped so much.

Thease ladies ran up to her and they did it so fast, too and my sister's hair is LONG and THICK,so thick she has to have it professionally thinned to keep from getting headaches.
