@@hosjmanne The issue isn't the SD card but the place where the SD card is. There are plenty of other solutions like having it in the chime inside the house.
@@annekedebruyn7797 ah i see…there is a Tapo doorbel that has the sd card in the chime. The Tapo D230S1 has one in the chime. The downside is you can’t wire the doorbell itself to constant power.
You have RTSP to stream to an NVR, cloud and MicroSD, what else do you want?... I could argue that for the tapo is easier to steal the whole brick than to fiddle trying to get the microsd out.
Oh really? I was planning on buying one after seeing overwhelming positive reviews on youtube. BTW does it support live stream on Google nest hub or Echo show devices?
Riddle me this. The Tapo one you mention, what's the use of switching to battery back-up if the power goes out considering if the power goes out, so does your wifi? Opps....lol
@@MrCougar214 Sure, that's true. And if a cataclysm happens and electricity as a whole cesses to exist, it will also go out. But the point is, while we can't prevent 100%, we can take measures to reduce the problem. Maybe it won't prevent widespread outages, but it will prevent local short term outages, which are usually more common. It's better than preventing none at all, isn't it?
Eufy is terrible for notifications to the app, takes at least 20-30 seconds, and by that time, the person at your door has left. Setting up the activity zone is pointless as it doesnt work at all and it will detect anyone within the doorbell view. Eufy support is pants and they even admit that the activity zone doesn't work.
They don't last, they end up frying your transformer. Most require monthly subscriptions. Almost all need a super strong wifi. Truth is you will only enjoy this for about 2 months. After that,,, headaches. Avoid all these headaches and get a regular door bell.
I just ordered one based on a recommendation, and I just checked that it does not have RTSP, which is crucial.

Why do all these companies put the SD card at accessible places? It's probably the most frustrating part.
Exactly! They can be stolen.
Well, I prefer sd card instead of a company only offers you cloud service. Never ever im uploading my own privacy to a company’s server

Returned D225. If you walked straight toward camera with high detection settings--no response.

Unless you have your router connected to an UPS device, keeping Wifi alive when the power is down.

First I suspect you mean 'oops' and second, it states that it continues recording, thus affording some additional security.
I thought the Eufy was awful for notifications. I like to know when someone is approaching the door and the Eufy was awful for this.

No Eufy reviewed?
wdym? It’s on video
8:31 ummmmm pretty sure that’s Eufy
Chapters in your video have wrong names, I think that's what confuses people. For example for the Eufy, it says Yui
