Following Ryans musical journey was incredible. He went from sounding almost exactly like Brecker (imo), to having his own sound and one day a huge impact on future musicians.
The contrast between Ryan Devlin's aggressive soloing style and Dave's makes something entirely unique and more than the sum of its parts. Huge fun of this duo.
What an incredible song: Mr Devlin continues to inspire both young and seasoned sax players; Mr. Pollack...Good Lord- the combination of storytelling, relatability and enviable mastery; the pianist- words escape me, Sir...Im a sax player that now wishes he understood piano much better! I was looking around my room to see if anyone else heard AND saw what I did. Bass and drums were remarkable in their own right. I love this song. Well done, folks. Incredible!
Man would I have been disappointed had I come to this show ... In the picture of the announcement, Dave had a beautiful tie on. And now: nothing....false advertising... On a sidenote: beautiful tune and lovely playing you all!
4:35, holy shit that Confirmation quote was so awesome, I went into this doubting the #WrongNote approach on a Mister Rogers tune, but you guys make it sound so damn good! Love it always
Man, this is spotify worthy. This stuff is gold fellas!!!
Thanks so much!

It says it right in the description - Dave Pollack, Ryan Devlin, Mike Bond, Lee Smith, Billy Kilson
Well, IMHO, you guys played the wrong instruments there... we all know what we all should play..
too many #wrongnotes that make people hate jazz
