I'll never get tired of seeing these holiday 80's commercials, & everything about them from Oreo to McDonald's is just wholesome.

As a kid, I had an Andy Williams Christmas album that I listened to constantly, even beyond the season, so surprised I didn’t watch that TV special.

That was my family… Though the repeat listening stopped after Christmas. I’m pretty sure we’ve repurchased one of Andy Williams’ Xmas albums a dozen times. First on cassette, then on CD. Then again when it got lost (later found). Then one year my mom got the kids, each their own copy when we were around college age and off on our own a bit more. It was a staple for the car ride home from Thanksgiving at the grandparents.

My family probably had that same album on cassette. It was constantly played through December for years and years.

When I heard "Kidd Video" near the end I thought the show was over by '86, but as it goes it was in Saturday Morning reruns until '87! It only ever lasted for 26 episodes!

    4. McDonald’s- Every time I see the Chicken McNugget characters dip themselves into Barbecue sauce at the end of commercials like this one, I always wonder, “Wouldn’t dipping themselves in the barbecue sauce make them more vulnerable to getting eaten?”
Lipton Rice Italiano- I like the solemn expression on the woman’s face at 9:15 as she tastes the rice dish.

The SMS was good. So good, it lasted past it's expiration date of 1991 outside of America. Luckily, a fan favorite in Brazil with their equivalent called the Tec Toy. And they were lucky to get Street Fighter 2 as late as 1997.

5:31 - How is Brian supposed to describe sentient cartoons handing him McDonald’s to the class? This teacher is going to scar him for life, and we don’t even get to see it.

Friday Night Videos-if those were the videos shown, it'd be good to stay home
Saturday Night Live-looked like this was a outtake
Easy Street-this was a good sitcom
The Facts Of Life-considered to be the "jump the shark"season
227-i believe Sondra would later marry that pilot guy, setting up the groundwork for Jackee to leave the show

03:09 I used to love when they would have NBC personalities host Saturday morning cartoons!! I can help but think what one of these would be like with Crockett and Tubbs hosting though🤔 or the Golden Girls, it would be tremendous 🤣
