She wanted an Age of Chaos. She knew in order for that to happen either The Supreme Deity or The Demon King had to be vanquished. Sure they may have used Merlin for a lot of help but she used them and played them like a violin. Poor Escanor must be rolling in his grave if he were to see the current Merlin in the 4KOA anime. I'm sure she had a reason for wanting this to happen but still even if she says it's either fir Arthur's sake or for The entity Chaos then those are mere excuses. She did it because she wanted to.
This is why I hated the seven deadly sins as the show went on. Ignoring the animation, I hated how every time Melinda’s got stronger it wasn’t through training but just him recovering or unlocking his lost power. It was cool when he first showed his demon side, but it just dragged on as the show went on
And yet still has the statute of a child 😪… so like does he ever change back to his original adult form or does he just remain with the baby face man body structure ? … it just never made sense to me
