I picked up a few years back a Ruger lc9s pro..pro= no external safety no mag disconnect.. and for my hands I can shoot that gun extremely well I mean extremely well even rapid fire it's 7 + 1 capacity but I do have a 10 round magazine that gives you a longer grip if you want.. I have never understood why people buy the glock 43 ×with the long grip when you could buy a regular 43 and get the extended magazine with the finger grip then you have a choice of going with the shorter one 6 + 1 or the 10 + 1 options are nice

what is the short barreled , white gripped single action Roy holds up at about the 39.10 mark?

The single-action I’m holding up is a Freedom Arms Model 97 in .45 Colt. I asked them to do a 3.5” barrel and slightly rounded butt, with adjustable sights. It’s a 5-shooter and can handle any load you can. I generally shoot a 250 hard cast SWC at about 850 fps. Not many problems you can’t solve with that one!
I’d say, with no hesitation, it’s a virtually perfect single action!

Does sight radius matter at all when using a red dot?

Technically, no as the dot is projected onto the target. Practically, gun size still matters as a shorter gun will weigh less and shift with trigger press more easily due to its lesser mass.
