One of the greatest Tabliyas. The tonality, speed, balance of hands and intelligent use of bayaan (dagga), he was a Tabla genius. Definitely one among the top 5 Tabliyas in my all time list. 🙏

Ustad Shawkat Hossain Khan Sahib was praised by Ustad Mehdi Hasan Sahib himself. He used to say that the greatest tabla player of Pakistan is Ustad Shawkat Hossain Khan Sahib. So Ustad Shawkat Hossain Khan Sahib's I don't have the ability to praise or measure him.

Ahmed Jan Trikwa, Ustad Qadir Baksh, Uatad Shuakat Hussain, Ustad Allah Rakha and Ustad Zakir
There are many left in that list Latif Ahmedkhan, anokhelal, samta prasad, and many more. They were all great in what guarantee they played.
Another legend I forgot was Aamirhussain khan.
