This channel has saved my life. Awhile back I was evicted from my apartment and I was drowning in bills. I was working but wasn’t making enough to pay rent. I had two weeks and I used those two weeks to study how to use my car as a living space. I had a Chevy G series van and I used this channel as a lot of reference for the most basic things I would need. then as I started to save money I would upgrade the interior and by things to really make it feel like home. Almost a year later and now I have a completely furnished living spaces all thanks to you. Thank you Living Big
I hope you are very at ease and living serenely. I absolutely think you made the right decision! Once I do finally get out of the rat race, I plan to live small and easy. I've lived tiny 3 times and cannot wait to do it again and forever! Peace!
The word “creative” tends to be handed out like toffee these days. I feel the word was intended for a gentleman such as this. Life handed him wood; so he carved his own world. What a privilege to gain a glimpse of it - thank you!
I love how Bryce notices, points out, and appreciates the incredible artistry in every detail of this magnificent work of art! Glen is a true magician, a beautiful soul, and handsome too!

My grandson and I are both LOTR fans and I think he would run away from home to live in a van like this. Of course he would have to take grandpa with him!
And in case you two need a good natured, artistic grandma to complete your LOTR bliss, just say it, love, and I'll abandon my Swiss home and join you. Any time. 😊😘
I love the "[everyone] needs a little touch of magic, a little touch of fantasy" ending of this episode. We sure do! This van is absolutely beautiful and magical.
The front door is JAW DROPPING! I really hope Glen gets a lot of work from this vid. People who love dragons (me!) and LOTR( also me!) would be very interested in his art. His wizards are WIZARD!!! The fact that it's a really great van build kind of sneaks under the radar, because we're all so thunderstruck by the woodworking. I strongly suspect that from the amount of commissions he gets, he will recoup the cost of the van in no time.
"In a forest, in a van, there lived an ex-serviceman. Not a nasty plain looking van, but a well designed tiny home. And that means comfort!" I just had to do this one.. totally in love with Radagast, the white box van!!
Glen looks like a lost member of Led Zeppelin... Which I mean as a high compliment! (And his accent... I am melting a little.) Amazing talent and dedication, as a hardcore LOTR fan I absolutely LOVE it!

His children must be very proud to have such a wonderful and gracious Dad . This gentleman has many talents. God Bless him ..What a beautiful soul . 🌲🇺🇸
His home is more like a magical mobile museum and he himself is a bit of a multi-talented wizard with lovely hair. I would personally feel overwhelmed by so many details and so much stuff, but it seems so perfect for him. Each of us is different and it is magical when we live the life that suits us. He seems to be doing just that. And that land, uh, takes my breath away!
I would personally feel overwhelmed as well but his transparency in his art and home is very brave in our so many times homogeneous beige world. Just adore him ❤
I hope you all enjoy this weeks video tour! Glen is a truly talented artist / wood carver and I'm totally blown away by the unique style of his van conversion. What amazing artwork! Simply stunning! It's remarkable to think that a creative spirit worked in such regimented professions before taking to the land. He's an interesting, multifaceted person.
"Each and every place that I look in this home I can find something that makes me smile," 15:26. Bryce, you're such a wonderful host. This comment was very sweet and it was clear that you meant it. Your kindness to the people that you visit warms my heart every time.
This is the most wonderful van I've ever seen. I'm so impressed of the owner and the handwork he has done. There is personality and spirit in every space. The garden is amazing of course. His talents and abilities are never ending. His house is adorable. The artwork blew me away. He is such a sociable and charming gentleman. Truly an inspiration. Would love to visit this place and talk to him for hours walking through nature. This episode was a joy to watch! Blessed Christmas and Happy New Year!
Glen is amazing as an artist, a carver and a creator. He’s handsome and talented ...I want him and the van! As an artist, I love the whole concept and his finished creation is stunning. Relax, Glen, I’m an old hippy chick in America. You’re safe!🥰💋
I just adore Radagast and what an amazing man. He has given so much his whole life in the military and 17 years as a police force. You can tell he is such a genuine person. One of my favorites. Brice adored him as well you could feel it. He is a distinguished man who really lives his art..
I've never fallen in love with a home until now. It truly took my breath away and touched my Soul in a wonderful way. Thank You Both for sharing !!! Ask Glen if he needs a roommate. :)
Every single video brings inspiration in some for or another that we can use in our own lives. I couldn't even dream of having an ounce of the skill and artistry that Glen has but I am still in awe and inspired by what he has produced. What a simply amazing home he has. Thank you for taking the time and effort to visit him and show it to us. Just when you think that you might run out of new and different tiny homes you show us something like this and we realise you have only started to scratch the surface of what artistry and ingenuity goes into a tiny homes. Cheers Bryce and Rasa
Thanks so much Andy! I always used to think there would come a time where there was nothing new to see, but human creativity is limitless and I'm sure that there will always be wonderful new ideas and homes to explore. 😃

We all deserve to feel a sense of accomplishment and live our dreams, whatever they may be. This place makes me smile inside and out!
I had to watch this twice! What an absolutely magical space he's created for himself. Those carvings are exquisite and the camera work to show them off was superb. All the thousand of little details tucked here and there is why I had to watch twice. Just incredible .... thank you for sharing this one! The other encouraging bit for me is he said he'd done other art before and started carving ten years ago. I create jewelry and wood burning has been whispering to me for about two years. After battling cancer I've learned time is precious and to grasp what you want. I've been researching wood burning and am looking to buy my mid-set and hearing him this morning say he started carving a bit later in life and to have that skill level is very inspiring. This is like a beautiful piece of art turned inside out with the back of the canvas on the outside. I would have a hard time getting any sleep because there is so much to see and touch and feel. Wonderful home. Thank you Bryce and Glen and Rasa.
This is so timely. Been rewatching the Hobbit trilogy and the LOTR trilogy this quarantine, and totally fell in love with these master pieces over again. Plus watching The Hobbit/LOTR/ Tolkien's related videos in youtube made me go crazy again with the Middle Earth life etc. And this particular video just pop up. I'm so happy watching this. Not a waste of time, really.
My dad whom has passed away would love this ... Watching this video and this middle earth wood home made me smile because I know my dad would be smiling from ear to ear just at thought of sitting in this ... Very comforting thought for me thank you x
Especially the ridiculous rent in the UK is making you look for alternatives. Still not sure how viable this is, if you need to have a job with a fixed address.
The most intriguing, magical and masterful tiny home I have ever seen and I have seen quite a few... I would love to spend a night there... This gentleman should build a few of these in a motel format to allow others to experience staying in a magical place for a short respite... It would also allow him a very nice addition to his retirement income...
This is definitely without doubt, the most stunning conversion I've ever seen. Excellent. I'm going to try carving with plywood, wow! I'm now in a cabin in Chile, I lived in a van for 7 years, traveling all through the Americas. Happiest years of my life!
Brice, I love it when you burst out with something that shows your personality. I'm thinking of when you told the man you'd buy his van. I didn't get that as a compliment. It seemed like a true desire and appreciation of his home. And your right. It is beautiful. I love his wood carving. ♥️🌼
Thank you Bryce and Rasa for bringing me thru this fairyland of a home and bringing a smile.i think i shall always smile when I remember this piece of art and his accent.wat a build..to think he was a policeman!
OMG!!! I am in love with his van!! I would love to live there, I've lived in a gypsy wagon that was similar but his van is so enchanting and amazing! He is living in a work of art! Glen ... you are a master craftsman and artist!!
Wow, I love the craftsmanship that has gone into making this tiny home inside a Luton van. You can see that he loves wood of all kinds. He has an idyllic spot too.
Credit to Glen for his craftsmanship and vision in this amazing project, and credit and thanks to Bryce for showing it on his channel.. Absolutely fantastic.
What a lovely tiny home! I could see myself living here. The whole Radagast ambiance, the wonderful wood carving - amazing plywood can be shaped to such effect! Plus it is designed with practicality - the bathroom works well, and one does NOT need to go up into the loft to sleep (with bad knees it is best that I sleep using the lower couch/bed), and on the same level as the toilet. And it is road-ready! This is one of the few homes that hit all my like buttons. Crafted with care and whimsy, and functional! Thanks for showing us this one.
Little little things are so nice... Specially his entrance door and the dragon bell...interior is so so Good...that chair with creeky sound.. Schindler.. I just loved it....
What a beautiful place to live! His woodcarving talent is amazing...that wizard on the bathroom door just blows my mind. I'm a big fan of Lord of the Rings movies so this is such a cool build! Thank you for finding this man and sharing his story and creation :)
What a beautiful, artistic, enchanting place to live. Thank you for sharing! Thanks to you, also, Bryce, for giving a tour and for pointing out all the great details! What a place called HOME! Loving her!
Yeah… maybe Fangorn would have been a better name if he’s gonna say it like that. At least that way there’s some ambiguity whether he’s talking about the being or the place! 😆
Hi there, Good Morning,😊Thank you, Glen, for sharing Radagast with us all! Your home is absolutely delightful, as are you, and the love you put into building your home is so clearly evident! Your children must LOVE coming to visit you there! Thanks again for inviting us in and thank you, too, for your stewardship of that truly beautiful, magical piece of land you share with nature. What a joy! Hello from California! 🧝🏾♀️🧙🏼♂️🌸🌼🌺🧙♀️🧝🏼♂️
What a magical home so full of beauty and sheer wonder. Amazing! Bryce: you are such a delightful guest and I love the way you treat everyone with such respect not only for their homes but for their personalities and that you take time to get to know them. Lovely interview and tour!
This was so inspiring to watch. I loved his Mirkwood type styled theme..mixed with Radagast and Smaug. He lives so close to nature and so simply. Pure joy. 🌿
I've been hoping for a while, that you'd do some episodes in the UK, these last two from my neck of the woods, really capture the whimsy and beauty of the west of England. Only 2 counties down from where Tolkien grew up and based the shire upon, Bryce, you've excelled yourself, great filming and presenting. The van was spectacular
Wow, what a masterpiece! I was worried it was going to be too dark inside, with just the one small window, but he's done a wonderful job with it. A true craftsman.

Thank you Bryce and Rasa for bringing me thru this fairyland of a home and bringing a smile.i think i shall always smile when I remember this piece of art and his accent.wat a build..to think he was a policeman!
He's so cool and inspirational. And what about those skills. Just wow.
Wow..the artistry that went into this home/van. Who knew that plywood could be so beautiful?? What an adventure!
Radagast is such a metal name for a van, I love this
DON'T EVER LOOK AT THE RECIEPTS. YOU HAVE CREATED A PRICELESS MASTERPIECE. THANK YOU FOR SHARING.
OMG!!! I am in love with his van!! I would love to live there, I've lived in a gypsy wagon that was similar but his van is so enchanting and amazing! He is living in a work of art! Glen ... you are a master craftsman and artist!!
Thanks so much! Glad you like it. :)
@@livingbig You all never disappoint!! Your channel is the best out there!!!
I love Bryce’s enthusiasm in each video 🥰 These emotions add so much value to people’s work ...❤️❤️❤️
Wow, I love the craftsmanship that has gone into making this tiny home inside a Luton van. You can see that he loves wood of all kinds. He has an idyllic spot too.
Amazing, Incredible, Magical home. I love it . Glen isn't too bad either. What a talented artist he is.
Dude has a bottle of Hendrick's Gin on the counter so you know he's legit.
brnt034, that's what I call LIVING 😀.
hah yeah I was thinking the same :D
Literally just had a party with Glen, in his van, jolly nice chap, not quite 14 of us though
That craftsmanship is beyond words
Little little things are so nice... Specially his entrance door and the dragon bell...interior is so so Good...that chair with creeky sound.. Schindler.. I just loved it....
What an amazing conversion. Such a talented craftsman. Another brilliant video. So glad you came to the UK. Thanks Bryce and Rasa
We are too thanks Lesley! We absolutely adore the UK and can't wait to explore some more.
@@livingbig you will be most welcome
This was the MOST British thing ever! Absolutely fantastic, a humble man with a beautiful talent and creativity
What a beautiful place to live! His woodcarving talent is amazing...that wizard on the bathroom door just blows my mind. I'm a big fan of Lord of the Rings movies so this is such a cool build! Thank you for finding this man and sharing his story and creation :)
Absolutely magical - especially Glen - he's such a calm serene spirit - beautiful creation. Congratulations!!
What a beautiful, artistic, enchanting place to live.
Thank you for sharing! Thanks to you, also, Bryce, for giving a tour and for pointing out all the great details! What a place called HOME! Loving her!
10 thousand quids for this remarkable house I reckon is an outstanding price! And I cannot not mention the beauty of a bathroom door! Wow!
As a hardcore LOTR fan... I couldnt stop laughing when ever he said "I am living in Radagast now, I've been in Radagast for a almost a year now." xD
😂
😂
Yeah… maybe Fangorn would have been a better name if he’s gonna say it like that. At least that way there’s some ambiguity whether he’s talking about the being or the place! 😆
Never been this early!!!! Off to make a coffee....this one looks amazing Bryce. Cheers!
Perfect timing Andy! Enjoy your coffee and the tour. I'm just about to make one myself.
This video popped up right after mine finished brewing! Cheers folks
😯😯😯😯😯wow!!! really really really amazing, love this tiny house inspired of Lord of the Ring!😊☺️🥰❤️👏👍💯🇵🇭

💚 Many thanks and that so kind of you to say!
These English tiny homes are something else, eh?
Wow, what a masterpiece! I was worried it was going to be too dark inside, with just the one small window, but he's done a wonderful job with it. A true craftsman.
This is utterly beautiful & remarkable! Kudos, Glen, you've done an amazing job and i hope you enjoy every minute there!
