Come back and let us know how it goes.
Me too. In my case supplementing with Calciumlactate helped. So I think it could be that we have low Calcium and when we take Magnesium Calcium goes even lower because they are antagonists.
But be aware that there are many doctors out there who say that Caclium supplements are dangerous. But could be that the problems with that studies is that they use cacliumcarbonat. Maybe the carbonat is the problem
@@clemensh6214exactly also mag can lower norepinephrine and dopamine ! Makes sense I would crave stimulants like crazy and the thing is even taking a lot of stims wouldn’t be effective I was a bit shocked !
t is probable that too much magnesium causes insomnia - and the reason is because it starts the body 'detoxing' and this causes all sorts of aches and pains and stops the body resting and sleeping. If taken in the morning sleep might not be an issue
It's possible, but there are much bigger factors at play than that.
When I started taking magnesium I started having trouble sleeping.
Here is our video on magnesium for sleep mistakes: ruclips.net/video/6rDn9RK43cc/видео.html
But which type of magnesium is he talking? Does it matter which one?
Different types of magnesium can have different effects, but they are all pro-catabolic.
Magneisum started to actually give me insomnia and it made me super angry and irritable after a while
Thanks for sharing this
The glycine in mag glycinate did that to me. I now take an ionic form that goes right to the cell and no longer hav ethat problem.
Just read a thing that only if you're taking too much Mag. can cause sleep problems. We'll test it out. If my sleep problems get better then I will follow you
It's really more about where your body chemistry is. I never recommend people just testing things out to see what works. That can be very frustrating. Your best bet could be to go through our totally free digestion course because that will walk you through running simple self-tests you can run at home to get an idea of what imbalances can be creating trouble, and what steps would help you correct them. then, you can really know if more or less magnesium is appropriate for you, and also if there is some other imbalance that could be creating your sleep trouble. You can find that free course here: kickitnaturally.com/course
Come back and let us know how it goes.
I think magnesium may be giving me heart palpitations. But I’m not sure yet.
I took magnesium glycinate (lowest 100mg) for a couple days and had side effects from heart palpitations at night, insomnia, wake up within 1 hour asleep, hand feeling numb, and rise in anxiety. Should I try something else?
Same here
Try Calm magnesium powder, it’s citrate, I take every night before bed, helps me relax and sleep
MAGNESIUM GLYCINATE ABSOLUTELY GIVES ME iNSOMNIA!!!
Thanks for sharing. This video explains why: ruclips.net/video/6rDn9RK43cc/видео.html
Thats from glycine, not magnesium
Same here, yet people praise it as a champion in helping with sleep! It's so confusing!
Magnesium really downgraded my mood. Depressed, angry. I stopped taking it
This video might give you some insights into what to look into to understand that: ruclips.net/video/qAE4qtx14fY/видео.html
symptoms of magnesium overdose may include:
diarrhea.
nausea and vomiting.
lethargy.
muscle weakness.
abnormal electrical conduction in the heart.
low blood pressure.
urine retention.
respiratory distress.
these symptoms can come from other causes as well
Instead of treating symptoms, we like to look at the person and their body chemistry.
You can’t take magnesium if you have benzodiazepine withdrawals because it binds to the GABA A receptor and will worsen your symptoms- and it’s debilitating.
Thanks for sharing your experience.
Magnesium helps with menopause headaches.
Take it with breakfast or lunch .
Magnesium relaxes the upper digestive sphincter and slow intestinal motility which can create a constipation problem
LOL just the opposite
If you take Channel Blockers, Magnesium can cause your blood pressure to go too low.
Thanks for sharing your experience. There are some scenarios where that can happen.
😊
Thanks Tony
