  • A full showcase of my revised model of the time machine from The Time Machine (2002) starring Guy Pierce. With research, previous iterations, and reference collecting included, this model had taken me over 3 years to make in total.
The model was made, unwrapped, textured and rendered in Blender, with the high-to-low bake, Ao and curvature maps being made in Substance Painter.
Special Thanks to Isaiah Ritchey, Randy Cooper and Don Coleman for the reference materials used to make this as accurate as I could.

You forgot about plasma arc initiating this bubble. It was in concept arts...

Great work. My only problem is the legs leave the ground before the bubble is formed

@@TimeMasterOG Yeah the timeline of stuff is weird. I chose to do it this way because that first scene with the legs moving is the only time the legs move when the bubble is active. The bubble and legs are kind of overlooked for the rest of the movie.

It did look awesome in the movie, but none of it makes any damn sense... it's just some crystal/glass and metal, basically, why would any of that move faster than light in order to travel through time. But okay, it's just fantasy, works via "magic" :-)
