My first time coming across your channel as I was looking for JBL Quantum TWS reviews (after reading that they're good I'm terms of latency for gaming). I gotta say, this video is very helpful! You covered the right topics and tested the right things including the mic quality!
Do you still get stereo sound when using voice chat while gaming on a pc using the usb dongle? I understand with Bluetooth you're stuck with mono if you want to use voice chat when gaming on a pc
This is an excellent question and one I don't see addressed enough. Theoretically, this is why you have the 2.4ghz dongle as an option. I think some newer BT versions may support what you're asking for, not completely sure. Historically, they would have to perform as 2 BT devices.. one for headphones and one for mic.
Hi! Thank you for your review. I also purchased these earbuds. I was thinking for quite a long time which ones and final 2 choices for me were between: JBL Quantum TWS or Logitech G FITS. After watching and reading many reviews, I decided to go for the JBL. Can't tell you at the moment if the choice was right for me but seems like majority of the people go for JBL. Maybe because of the price as well but yes, thank you for your review. BTW, these are my first gaming earbuds as I am a true over the head headset believer - looking forwards to being ''converted'' :)
@@Dshowtime718 pretty sure you can't. Got a reply from another youtuber. I bought the soundcore vrp10 hoping it you play from 2 sources. It only auto detects even sound come from bluetooth it mutes 2.4ghz and when bluetooth stops it continues 2.4ghz audio. The only headset I've found that will play from 2 sources together is the arctis pro wireless.
Very usefull video as always, i am looking on buying these, but for music, lots of erabuds with the plastic tips dont fit well in my ears, what is your opinion about them, are there any good, and when moving your head, do they also stay in place? Thank you, and keep up this work.
TBH I'm not a fan of branding my items such as a huge "JBL" logo, but this is the most practical gaming earbuds I've ever seen. It's very friendly to the user. Customize everything thru your phone and just plug it right away on your PC/PS5 or things that doesn't support bluetooth. Other gaming earbuds that has dongles with them are: 1. Sony InZone Buds, although good, but you need Windows to customize, doesn't connect with bluetooth to latest phones since it uses old bluetooth tech. 2. Anker P-10, same as JBL, and very cheap, but I prefer black colorway, but these are very good aswell would recommend this if you can't afford the JBL. 3. EPOS GTW 270, if you update them on to the latest firmware. They will have a bug where you can't turn off your mic and therefore the battery life would only last 1-2 hours. Idk why and there's no new updates on them since they're in their end of life cycle.
Hi i am looking for a good airpod for gamming....maybe JBL quantum could achive the objective....I play D4, DH2, Fortnite......now i am using a Headset Kraken Razer (I like a lot the sound and the mic), but i dont now if there some LAG in the sound on gamming......please could you recommend this ones or theres anothers one.....better for gamming....regards from Chile
Thanks for the review. And if I have jbl reflect flow pro, does it make sense to change to a new one?First of all, I'm interested in sound quality, bass saturation compared to jbl reflect flow pro.. Unless of course you had experience using jbl reflect flow pro.
Hello Liessshy! Were you able to try it out with PUBG? I am thinking of getting that earbuds the only thing i am not sure of is if it will be able to pickup footsteps loud enough. I have tried many wireless gaming headsets for playing pubg but i continously waste money on them. All of them wireless gaming headsets it tried are very muddy and have very low treble for picking up footsteps in pubg.
I tried that during recording and it sounded the same! However, once I get some time (as I’m flying over to JBL Fest in Vegas next week), I will make a reel or RUclips shirt with the comparison between the two! 😁
I ordered these in America, I just wanted to knock how they sounded for music, I got a pair of SkullCandy earbuds and they are cheaply made, they dont f8t in the case and don't charge well
Haven’t used them for movies. I have the JBL Bar 1300 with true Atmos and it’s incredible. Wouldn’t use earbuds for movies myself (but that’s because I watch movies on my tv, not a computer, tablet or phone)
I imported one of these (into Au) from Amazon US. Super important that anyone with these downloads the app and turns the default EQ off. For some mad reason, they set the EQ to "Jazz" by default, which massively increases the sub-bass, mid-bass and mid-to-upper treble. As soon as it's turned off, it sounds remarkably close to the Harman curve (to my ears). Which makes sense, considering JBL is owned by Samsung, who funded all of Sean Olive's research. Anyway, I got these to exclusively use with my PC, but have found I significantly prefer them than my Sennheiser Momentum 4's. Highly recommended for a great sounding all-round TWS set with very low latency via the dongle. Just don't expect class leading ambient or ANC modes - they are trounced by my Sennheisers, Airpod Pro's and Sony XM4's in this area.
I thing the only advantage of the JBL QUANTUM TWS is the only usb dongle gaming earbuds comes with the transparency mode, but now you said that the ambient mode it’s so so, plus the crapy quality microphone really turn me down. I thought I finally fine something suitable.
Been searching for the best gaming earbuds for my steam deck. But non of the youtubers really illustrate and test the latency. Let me teach you how you can show it to us. Set the earbuds to maximum volume and put your mic beside or near to it. Play some fps game. Maybe pubg mobile or cod on your pc. And start firing the gun. Then we'll be the judge if it is really a low latency gaming earbuds.
@Liessshy Have you used these PS4/5 and what they sound like? I'm thinking about picking up a set.
Did you try them out for Ps5? let me know how you liked them.

What buds would you recommend with a good mic?

My JBL's were $60 so yeah no brainer.
Could you please share your experience batter elife while listening to the music?
Does this play from dual sources? Can I play music through my phones bluetooth while gaming on pc with 2.4ghz at the same time?
I would like to know this too. I can't find anyone talking about it

@@ivan-j4l9x Thanks for the info
@@ivan-j4l9x Wait, I thought that one can work both way too? Some other youtuber said the Soundcore can.. Is there settings maybe?
So the dongle doesnt work on xbox ?
I want to know about the base, does it have some boom to it
How to connect to pc via dongle? So if your laptop doesn’t have USB C, You can’t use it?

Can i use these for Proximity chat in MW3? 🤔
Which is better? These or rhe razer hammerhead pro hyperspeed?

I just bought a pair for $49! Very happy 👍
Is there anyway to mute the microphone on the headphones because I want to use my streaming microphone instead
No but you should be changing your mic input setting to your microphone, not the headphones.
@@Liessshy gotcha thanks
does it perform well with the playstation 5?
Not one mention about sound quality for music... What kind of review is this

Hecate gx05 maybe good for you. But not good for music. Im playing pubg to.
Good review - I plan on using with the dongle and will use with VR headset.
Hi Liessshy! Ah my goodness, whoa good work, it's always nice having earbuds and listening musics. I hope you have a Happy Tuesday! :)
Thanks for watching Will!

just got these today and the voice prompt is LOUD AF
Is there a mute button ? I’m using a PS4. Need a mute button
Does the dongle plug directly into the PS4 or do I need an adaptor please?
Hi Liessshy! can you help me with my jlb quantum 600? It's not connecting even if i follow the "need help" thingy. Thankyou!
I fell in love
Sponsored by JBL, immediately lost all credibility.
