In Tomb Raider II: Starring Lara Croft we follow Lara Croft on her second journey to collect the mythical Dagger of Xian artifact near The Great Wall of China.
This time, exploiting glitches including the PAL-exclusive flare wall bug, Troye (tasvideos.org/Users/Profile/T...) completes the game and collects all secrets (as in the dragon shaped pickups) in record time. Please read the author's comments (tasvideos.org/7517S) for more details.

TR 1&2 I got through in a timely manner (less than a month each). Then came 3 and by gawd!!! The difficulty spike was tremendous

Can someone explain to me how did they jump to the bottom of the canyon in level 1 (gold statue) without getting damage?

As far as I can tell it's related to the fact that lara touches both the wall and a floor at the same time and bonking on the wall seems to reset the fall and so she doesn't take any damage. (Please someone correct me if I'm wrong.)
