they cannot, safety and regulations in the EU and USA does not allow such cars to be produced anymore because of safety of civilians crossing the street if they get hit by such car, Mercedes found a loophole by just facelifting a facelift and keep updating the car... a facelift is allowed , a new boxy shaped model is not.

BMW has completely taken a different turn in their designs. Same performance but the appearance of their cars are just starting to look like something of a Honda or Toyota. When i see a BMW now, nothing really screams German engineering or that luxury feeling.

It has design elements from all the ugly cars combined in a single package of bad design. Lights like a bissan juke, side profile of the toyota rav 4, rear end of a hiunday. The interior is nice, but the car is compromised
