Personally, going gluten-free has helped me so much when it comes to my chronic illness. I hope it benefits you as well.

I'm so glad it's helped you! I've been GF for almost a week and I feel like I've already seen some improvements!

@@MadisonStrong Yeah, it really has 🙂 I used to have a lot of problems with gluten as a child, but I didn't realize it was the gluten until I took it out of my diet. Since doing that, my symptoms have lessened. I can eat without feeling stuffed after three bites, I can eat without feeling like my food is going to come up on me, my joint pain has lessened, my fatigue has lessened, and my mental health has really improved. I used to have really bad brain fog, but after going gluten free, my brain is so much clearer now. It's nice to be able to function better
I'm glad to hear it has seemingly been helping you as well 😄 I hope it continues to 💖

@@alexandriak7991 that’s so amazing!!! I feel like going gluten free needs to be brought to the attention of more chronically ill people. Usually it’s only focused on for celiac disease. But so many people can benefit from it!

@@MadisonStrong Yeah, it's so beneficial. The only thing I don't tend to like is that sometimes it can be considered 'trendy' by modern society, so they don't take some people as seriously. However, it has helped to get gluten-free food more easily found. But because some people do it because it's trendy, sometimes it can be hard for people like us who benefit a LOT from being gluten-free.
I think the thing is that a lot of people don't think diet affects health that much. Or at least, things on the food pyramid don't (oh, the dreaded food pyramid, that's one of my worst enemies). When I was little, I went to a rheumatology appointment and my mom asked one of the doctors if diet could affect my body and joints. The doctor said no. Then, my mom did research for years and we finally 100% went gluten-free in 2018. But a lot of people--including some doctors--don't take it seriously, so it's brushed under the rug and ignored. Which is really sad because it's very beneficial.
I assume it's been working out well for you still?
