This song is my all time most abusively binged song ever, by far. I have listened to it on repeat hundreds of times in a row, hours and days on end. IMO, it is one of the most hauntingly beautiful and hypnotically agonizing songs ever written; I love it so much and I also utterly hate it, if that makes sense. This song stops me dead in my tracks and for many years consecutively, it has been my most played song according to my annual Spotify wrapped, plus well pre-dating the age of streaming too. Your piano arrangement is beautiful and gives me the visual imagery of the ending credits of a movie, dark and deep, perhaps one without the happy ending, with the credits fading in over a scene of a descending elevator that never stops, until the scene fades to black as the song ends, with the remaining credits passing over a silent black screen. I’m going to repeat your rendition now, because that is just what I do with this song, I can hardly help it lol. Bravo man, awesome job.
