Yeah. Even as a guy younger than her, I felt creeped out by those interviews. Just sleazy.
Every time I see that clip I want to leap through the screen and throttle that dude. SHE WAS A MINOR. And alone on the stage with that POS. That was so incredibly inappropriate.
I remember quite well, It was when the Sometimes Video came out...all those weird presenters aked her about her breasts and if she had done some job on them, as if it was nothing. She was just growing in front of the world and they were being super creepy about it. I was very unconfortable watching it (I´m around her age) and I can´t even imagine how she must have felt each time people felt entitled to comment about her body so freely.
You’re right, it’s really awful to see how objectified she was and from such a young age. It’s seems a lot of people placed her value in her sex appeal! How horrible to be going through all that at, again, a young age and it’s just out there for the public consume, yuck!
The „caw-caw“ during the dance off breakup made me laugh so hard I scared my dog awake and she started barking hysterically. 😂

I feel compelled to tell you about the time I went to school in my favorite blue and green jumper dress, white thigh highs, and my hair in space buns with white feathery scrunchies. I was accused of trying to look like Brittany Spears even though I had never heard of her at that point, because she was new out and I listened mostly to country music so hadn't even heard her one or two songs that were out. Yes, it was the 90s. BTW, I was like 16 or 17, not a very small child....that would've been extra weird.
I never wore that outfit again, BTW. I was very sad.
I just looked. The video was release Nov 26, 1998. It must've been days after it released. How embarrassing. 😂😭 We didn't even have mtv, so I wouldn't have seen it.

You should do Beauty and The Briefcase It has Jennifer Coolidge, Hillary Duff and random ass actors sprinkled through. I tried to rewatch it but I couldn't finish the movie so I think this would be a perfect review!
My favorite part will forever be how they didn't get the rights to ANY of her songs (cause that doesn't matter for a biopic about a SINGER, right!?) so all the songs they used are her very very few covers.

I had no idea there was another movie featuring a guy flying thanks to his farts.
There's this kid movie called "Doctor Proctor's Fart Powder" about a "genius scientist" who invented a powder that can make you fart a big time and fly, and two kids decide to sell it at their schoolyard. The movie also involves an evil billionaire who will do anything to put his hands on the fart powder.
It's a genre of movies I wasn't made aware of, before reading your summary xD.
I think Walmart deserves a smidge more credit. It can't be dollar tree Britney either because they have some gems! It's giving family dollar vibes, you know overcharging for affordable items (with notable exception Believe Beauty!)

I've got rly sensitive ears(I can hear my neighbors TV in the house next door)and I have a hard time finding creators that don't sound jarring at times. Jaime does a good job with her sound editing but her voice is a natural gift for ppl like me ("why u always yelling?!") and I hope she realizes.
Also supersonic hearing actually sucks; a lot of sounds are gross and 90% more ppl talk shit about you than you think, it did give me a thick skin tho so 🤷♀️

I always comment the same thing which is I’m so glad you make your videos because they always provide the perfect and hilarious commentary that these awful movies aren’t even good enough to deserve but you elevate the existence of these awful films by turning it into an occasion to have a good deep belly laugh.
