I was so glad to watch another of your videos. You are real and make me smile. I didn’t realize you are in Michigan. Me too. You get a lot done for your very busy life. Love your work !
I thoroughly enjoyed this video. You are my kind of people. 😊. Beautiful finds at the Estate Sale. I love the choices of patterns you choose to stitch. Look forward to the next time you share. Enjoy the Autumn!🍂
I missed you so much! Your flosstube is on my favorites bar and I kept checking .. .just in case RUclips messed up. Very interesting about framing. I would love to have someone else do my framing but that's not going to happen. I collect frames. My problem is that I would rather stitch than FFO. Yes there are too many great patterns to stitch. I always enjoy seeing your stitching. Inspiring! sometimes seeing a piece finished or in progress on flosstube, spurs me to purchase a pattern. Thanks for taking the time to do this video!
Yes, I did enjoy the video. Good to see you again. I have admired all of your choices for your projects and really appreciate your keeping me company while I stitched on my little Teresa Kogut project (the sailor from the front of the Summer 2023 Punch Needle & Primitive Stitcher magazine). Almost done! I need SO badly to get a move on with some of my larger wips. All of the framed pieces you showed have just inspired me to get them up on the wall. Thanks for lighting that fire under my backside!! I’ll likely pick one of them up tonight. Be well and God bless! See you next time! ❤
Oh my gosh Rachel I just jumped for joy! I stitched the Hinzeit piece last summer !That frame is awesome!!! Your American Sampler turned out beautifully! I’m with you on Sampler Spring! Great idea! Good to see you too!! Loved all the things!!
So happy to see you whenever you have a chance to come on again! Your linens are at and at takes time so no apologies needed. You are a joy and a blessing to the stitching community, so please ease up on the demands on yourself. Relax and stitch a little!
Thank you! I have a few of the patterns you showed. I also have a couple of the same/similar wips. So very encouraged. Love your matter-of-fact realistic attitude 👌 😂😂😂Thank you for being so real and down-to-earth. Praying for you to have many enjoyable stitching hours!🎉💝💖💗💓🧵🪡🕊💐
This was such a fun video! I love your laid-back, real-life attitude! Great finds at the estate sale! Thank you for the informative framing info! I'm looking forward to more of your history lessons!
So happy to see a new video from you. It is always fun to have coffee with you and see what you are doing. Take care and hope to see another video in September. Cheers, Norma in Boise, ID
Wow!! Blueskin looks so great in that chocolate frame!! I remember you showing it in the gray frame and not being especially happy with it...what a difference this makes! I love mine stitched on your Delaware Crossing linen but this makes me want to stitch it again. Great to see a new Flosstube from you.
Glad to see you again! Missed your videos but I just bought some nice pieces of your linen during my first trip to the Attic! Thanks for what you do to make our stitching life so fun! Hope you have some down time soon 🪡🧵
Glad to see you back filming, I really enjoy your Flosstube. I have done my own framing and always lace. Looking forward to Dolly Madison when you have a few minutes to breathe and film.
Oh what a great Sunday morning surprise. Your attitude is so much mine! I love , love listening and watching your videos. Thank you, Rachel! We an almost neighbors lol. Northern Indiana. Come back soon!
Good to see you again Rachel! I have seen more and more patterns and designers using your linen, and I know you are really busy with your business! You have been missed, and your stitching WiP’s are beautiful! I enjoyed hearing about your framing experiments and i agree that your Hobby Lobby did a really nice job! My LNS has a framer that i use, and although she is expensive, she is awesome! I find that Jo’ann Fabrics is very expensive! About 6-7 years ago my husband and I purchased a photograph from a local photographer that we wanted to get framed for a wedding gift for a family member. Even with a sale, and a coupon, Joann’s was over $200.00! It was a 11 x 14 photo, so the frame was large, but the price was outrageous! It is good that you found someplace that you are satisfied with! Hopefully you will be able to come back soon, and I have so looked forward to your next First Ladies series! Thanks for visiting with all of us again!
Rachel, you’re so fun and your video was not a hot mess, I was sooo glad to see you back! First, I was rolling on the floor watching you and Liz in the hotel room! That was so fun to watch! Next time you see Liz, will you tell her that we need her to get back on! Miss her so much! You and I stitch so much the same things, nice to see. I’m really glad you did the framing review, it was very helpful and insightful. I use Michaels but oh my it’s so expensive! I do the same as you in buying frames and having a stash. I frame most of mine too. Your stitching is beautiful! Can’t wIt to see you film again! Blessings from Tulsa!
So good to see you back! I am so totally onboard for Sampler Spring. I love samplers but love stitching autumn pieces so, I am totally torn! Sampler Spring would be just the ticket! Your video isn’t as disjointed as you think it is.
Oh the joy I had when the notification came across on a new flosstube from my fav flosstuber!. Thanks for the proof of life and the enjoyment of your presence on my video screen this afternoon. I love your videos regardless of lighting, dog noise, or deliveries. I think that’s in part what makes me enjoy your content so much. You just make things fun!
It's always GREAT to see you post a video! Loved your review of hobby lobby & Michael's framing. I have used both but hobby lobby is the one I recently just tried. I like both as you said. Like each for different reasons. Hobby Lobby is quite a bit less expensive & is alot closer so for now like you said "it gets it on the wall. Love that you shared what you've been stitching too!
Loved watching this video. You are so interesting to listen to. Your projects are beautiful. Looking forward to dolly madison video. And I will pray for you. 😉
Good to see you Rachel! I was wondering how you were doing...no apologies needed for your hiatus. It's life. You are the real deal. I hope I have a chance to meet you at Hobby House. 🙂
So good to see you on floss tube again! I always admire people who start the Hawk Run Hollow charts...I love them but know myself well enough to know I would probably never get around to finishing one. Love your linen colors when I can snatch some. I usually stitch on 28, 32 ct so sometimes harder to find. So you had to add to your busy schedule by getting a puppy...and a big one at that! I love the big dogs..but as I'm getting older the dog we got 1 1/2 years ago is a 25 lb mix...he has some pitbull and chihuahua in him...2 breeds I said I wouldn't own...ha...he is almost 2...he is a sweet boy though and after having a lot of big long haired dogs having a dog with hardly any fur has been sort of nice...and going for walks are a little easier also. All of us dog lovers out here want to see your dogs! :)
Hold the phone. You have a puppy and we weren’t introduced? I want my Martha Washington Cook Book back! 🤣. So glad to see a vid and I don’t give a s*** if you are all over the place. ❤. The estate sale items were amazing. Good job! 👏🏻
I’m so glad that a lover of stitching purchased her beloved pieces! Wouldn’t she be excited to know that her finishes were featured on flosstube! I hope when I pass (a long long time from now) someone does the same for my pieces!
I think floss tube producers are way to hard on themselves. I am so happy you all take the time out of your busy lives to make these videos. Good to see you and I look forward to the next chapter.
You had some wonderful finds. You are correct and it depends on the framer and the person that rights up the order. At our Michaels the head framer is a cross stitcher so I now only deal with her. Once I had someone else right the order up and it came back just like yours that is too close. They reordered and reframed my piece.
Rachel!!! (sorry, that soundedlike a stalker) I have been thinking about you the last couple of weeks and hoping that you are well. Thank you so much for the video and sharing your findsd and stitches. Now to go in search of some Dirty Teacup...... 😄
I have been buying custom frames from Michael’s when they are 70% off, but I lace and finish the pieces myself. I’m too picky to leave it up to someone else and not be happy. I wish I could relinquish control because lacing isn’t fun. We need to meet the new puppy!
I’m totally with you on having my linen cut to size for me! Please, no! Just sell me a full cut so I have plenty of room to stitch. I’ll cut it myself, thankyouverymuch!
Aaron Brothers closed their stores - they are the Michaels frame shop now. I go there with the coupon deals. They use stitchy pins to stretch and frame needlework. Sounds like that woman did not want to do the job.
So glad you made a video. Have missed you a ton. I love your theory just get it up on the wall. Your projects are beautiful. Fall projects are my favorite to stitch so for Sampller September I am working on The Lord's Prayer Sampler by Stoneycreek. It is a lot of fall colors. I will also work on Autumn Folk by HOD as it is a fall project. Currently I am working on Thomas by Not Forgotten Farm I also have another Turkey I can't remember its name. Did you get your bag from Liz? Take care
No need to apologize at all! I enjoy listening to you and love your linens. Are you going to the event at hobby house in October with Scarlet house? Myself and some other ladies are going. I can’t wait and I’m very much looking forward to it the pieces you show are beautiful! Sue Chavanne. Elma ny
Great video! So great to see what you are up to. I wanted to comment that I hope you get more Hand and Lock boxes in stock if you have the opportunity. My zipper broke on mine and my substitution is not great. So if you have the opportunity I would buy one. Thanks!
I don't have any plans right now to order more, but probably will at some point. I keep watching for new colors and patterns to release and when I see a new one I enjoy I'll place an order!
I live outside Reno Nevada . Micheal's doesn't do a good job. I have things framed at Hobby Lobby and they pin it. I have had things framed in Oregon California and Nevada by Micheal's. They didn't do a good job. My Coming to America by Brenda Gervais Micheal's tried 4times to get it right. I finally just gave up.
I'll have to think a bit. Years ago, I believe Kitten Stitcher filmed a framing tutorial you could probably find on her youtube channel. If I think of a really good one, I'll comment here and let you know! ❤️
I'll just say, it feels ginormous!! 😂😂 I think others look smaller because the called for is 40 count and I used 36... I previously wanted them all big and now I've changed my mind! 😂
You can purchase them at Stitchfolk.com she doesn't always have listings, so you sort of have to keep an eye out for her bag listings. They are very well made! ❤️

Gosh no!! I love doing it and am excited for future first lady stories!
Beautiful frames…..your blessed Rachel
All stitchers love your linen..
Estate sales are the BOMB🎉❤
So happy to see a new video from you. It is always fun to have coffee with you and see what you are doing. Take care and hope to see another video in September. Cheers, Norma in Boise, ID

Some great treasures you bought onn the estate sale. You were very lucky. Thankyou for the info about Kathy barrick. Im going to look her up.

$60 was a steal for that patriotic framed piece. Too great. I would have saved it, too.

I think I'm imaging things. Hey. I've missed you.
Enjoyed watching you again.

Stop your fussing. It was pure fun 🎉
“I’m thinking to myself as I’m talking… it’s not going well”
🤣🤣 did I say that??? 🤦♀️🤦♀️
Boy was that frames stitch worth it.
Are you going to continue with this First Lady series at any point? I enjoyed it so much…
That's the plan! I'll be posting Dolley soon! 🤞🏻

Love your hair in this video- very pretty ❤
Does anyone have a good tutorial for how to do the backing and frame your own pieces?
I'll have to think a bit. Years ago, I believe Kitten Stitcher filmed a framing tutorial you could probably find on her youtube channel. If I think of a really good one, I'll comment here and let you know! ❤️
What size of cloth is your Hawk Run Hallow.
Never mind. I backed it up. Yours looks so much bigger than the ones I’ve seen. Your work is beautiful. Welcome back. You were missed.
I'll just say, it feels ginormous!! 😂😂 I think others look smaller because the called for is 40 count and I used 36... I previously wanted them all big and now I've changed my mind! 😂
🪡👍🏽
How do you get a berry bag
You can purchase them at Stitchfolk.com she doesn't always have listings, so you sort of have to keep an eye out for her bag listings. They are very well made! ❤️
