GRACIAS!!!!. Muy claras, didáctico y precisas las explicaciones que das. Me sirvió un montón para intentar poner en marcha mi Siambretta 175 tv de 1964 . Desde Argentina Saludos!!!!
YES thats a big factor , quality and flash point are as low as 70c on some oils to keep a clean motor and low smoke emissions in modern regulations , might do a follow on vid 🙂
You realize when you go from wrenching the shock off to holding a spark plug in your hand with nothing in between that it makes sense to you but for people who are learning
I've noticed a lot of scooters in the UK and Europe have those reinforced fuel lines, what are they called? I'd like something that doesn't kink up like the typical clear lines...
I filled up with super unleaded yesterday for the first time got 5 miles down the road and holed the piston It’s ts225 with vape sport ignition and franspeed race pipe everything running good till I filled with super unleaded it’s either that or just coincidence
Super unleaded is higher octane so less chance of detonation? So look closely at other things exhaust leak ? Or partially blocked exhaust can make you hole a piston and it creeps up on you over time ?
@@boomtownbuck-a-roos8597 ahh so it might be leaking check flange and slip joint was it fitted with new gasket and sealant ? Hope you didn't fit it on a used gasket ?????
Sorry I dont video everything have to keep it interesting. Theres leak tests on other vids in my list, thank you for watching hope you enjoy all my stuff .
Well boys bike has run ever since we upgraded the cooling and no problem. No more heat seizures happy days
Please can you tell me what grade wet and dry you used and what lubrication when removing the scuffs on the piston?
@@davyburns6926 800 . beware the seize marks will be harder than the rest of the piston .
Copper gaskets top and bottom. With copper spray gasket applied. Draw some heat away.
Very logical and interesting the 4 hotspots!
When you showed the top end of cylinder it actually looked like there was a crack/ slight gap between liner and the aluminum

Very, very interesting observations! I understand none of it but very, very interesting.
Good video fella and learnt something
Great video, learned quite a bit, thanks Steve!

Great video and thanks for the tips on cooling 👍🏾
Why not put a copper head gasket which dissipates the heat better , congratulation for the video .Hello
hi comments are welcome , nice idea keep them coming 💖
Get some copper in those stud holes somehow. Copper plate the studs. Copper particles. Something.
You should do a video on your tools! I'm wondering what that stud removal tool is with the allen wrench bit? That looks proper handy!
Great vid Steve 👍🏼
finally i find how to open barell

Bgm sell it although it goes hard like the other lines available over time
its from scooter center
Sip do them
Could you cover the studs with heat sink compound that they use on computer CPU,s?

@@stephenrichards8065 I didn’t fit it a guy who runs a scooter garage down in Cornwall did the work I’m hoping he used new gasket
