Lyric looks absolutely stunning. She was always one of my favs. I’m so happy that she’s doing so well in her life & exudes positive vibes. Great interviews guys!! I can’t wait to listen to your future interviews with some other OGs.
this is soooo good. I'm a new watcher of bgc, loved Lyric. SO cool to see her years later, always loved her voice and what she had to say. Was sad to see her go but was proud she knew when to walk away. Very fun interview.
Julie wasn't jumped. It was 1 on 1. Erika fought her, then Mehgan fought her, then Andrea fought her. Besides, Julie, Falen, Ashley, and Rima jumped Andrea. Edit: I feel like some of you guys are being biased by making excuses for Julie, downplaying her role in the jumping. Whether it's intentional or unintentional, Julie still jumped Andrea. She was fully aware of what was happening. You can agree to disagree if you want, but I'm stating the facts.
Julie didn't get jumped but she also didnt MEAN to jump Andrea. She thought they were breaking it up and she did call out Falen and Rima. She said it in the interview
@@devontamosley4487 Is it really Julie who jumped her if she was the one who was originally fighting Andrea? I always felt like the ones who jumped in are the ones responsible, but if you are already fighting you aren't. In that scene Julie wasn't really trying to fight her until Andrea started swinging
Even during her second season on the show, Lyric was the most mature. I loved how she always did what she could not to get dragged down or dragged into other people's drama and beef. Others called her arrogant and conceited but really she seems just very confident about herself while avoiding negativity. She always had positive vibes going and to see how she's grown even more into a woman striving to leave a positive impact in this world is absolutely beautiful to me. Keep shining ❤
I love you Lyric! Always have, always will. Very confident, independent, and well spoken. She looks exactly how she did back when she was on TV. She also sounds the same. Great to hear and see her doing so well! Thank you for sharing.
Lyric is gorgeous, but she lost me with that anti-Black comment regarding Black Women. The comments she made were seeped in colorism, texturism, and featurism. Tanisha, though big at the time was very gorgeous and still is till this day. I’m not sure how or why she’d be jealous of Lyric. She’s not the only Black Woman with long hair or lighter skin. There are a lot of Black Women with long hair. Black is beautiful regardless if you’re dark, brown, or light. Regardless if your hair is wavy, straight, kinky, or curly, long, short, or medium length. Regardless if you have bigger or smaller features. Lyric is an unambiguous Black Woman at the end of the day. I really need for Black people to heal from internalized racism-colorism-texturism-featurism. Let’s not continue this divide with the narrative that Black Women are jealous and vindictive based on around each other’s vanity. Practice what you preach.
Very nice commentary I just wanted to add that lyric is not unambiguously black and that's OK I would consider her more of a multi generationally mixed black woman. You could see that she does have some admixture Which is why I say multi generationally mixed after all she is Guyanese and I'm pretty sure she has native/southeast asiatic and black ancestry. I'm pretty sure she had her experiences with other black women and dealing with xenophobia because her looks made her stand out. Not negating what you say but maybe from her perspective they always came for her and she probably never questioned her blackness until they made her. We all know that black folks in America are obsessed with anything that is remotely mixed Hence the reason why they want to claim any and everybody. Especially the women wanting to claim mixed women as black. No disrespect to her or black folks It's not their fault but if they continue to perpetuate antiblackness then yes. And also they will keep asking you questions What she makes with over and over until you give it up and then they will Other you afterwards. That maybe it's called some Tension and resentment on her end that maybe led to her saying what she said in this interview . I believe it was more of a frustration than anything else. I like to think that she would use her privilege for good She does have some redeemable qualities.
@@UrbanAlchemystic lyric probably has issues with other black women because u can tell she's kind of conceited...she was arrogant on the show and still similar 2 decades later
