    At 8:00 you have two males. They are sparring. Females a much duller, but the easiest way to tell the difference even at a very small size is to look at the pectoral fins. Males have "pom-poms" and the females do NOT have any coloration on the pectoral fins. It's a really nice blue-eye to keep. I love mine and have raised quite a few.

    When the males spar each other or when he shows off his colours to the female, they do flash more colour,
    This is true for the regular and honey blue eye, in Australia (known as the Australian fighting fish)
