Hi Ping! You mentioned in this video that these fish seem to be affectionate towards their owners, which leads me to my question: How do fish show affection towards humans and can they distinguish their owner from other people? Thanks!

Yes! Many fish are affectionate. Their version of affection though is basically not hiding from their owner and becoming actively excited and following them in their tank. Some will rub against their owners hand (not usually advised though). And yes most fish can easily distinguish between their owners and other people.
