- A brief delay caused by the heavy snowstorm resulted in a 2 train being rerouted via the 1 line to 137th St, and returning back south out of service. An example of good service management during an incident! Enjoy!

Taken on November 15th, 2018.
I was stuck at Pelham Pkwy waiting 45 minutes for a train to come
There were a lot of sparks coming from the wheels jeez
Not the wheels though. But yeah, a lot.
Wow. The arcing was beautiful. I've never seen sparks flying like that on third rail shoes.
That was a day funny enough Then on Friday of that week the same stuff happened and you had 2 and 3 trains once again running up the one line
I got to school 40 min late
So happy I have a understanding teacher
Nice catch!!

Good 2 train to 137 st via Express
You have a really good taste in recording, and also great camera quality! Especially for the night time.
3 via the 1 to 137th street and now 2 via the 1. I remember the 3 terminate at 137th street during the Lenox avenue rehabilitation and reconstruction when the 2 reroute toward the 5 in 1998.
You gotten right bro it 1998 Lenox Ave rehabilitation I have same experience
There should be a Diamond G Subway Line in New York.
Slipped in the snow and the B38 took 30 minutes to come cus of the traffic caused by the snow.
I was at times square 42 street. The N train terminated at that station. A man left his backpack in the train! Then when the N train came back,The man went running for his bag. This happened sunday afternoon in 2018.
There should be a Diamond 2 Subway Line in New York.
This looks beautiful!
Yes
Here in Chicago CTA "L " cars have a composite deflector or cow catcher that's worn all year round since the blizzard of 1978 and sleet scrapers on the pilot truck on both railcars this helps greatly unless there is a really bad ice storm that's a different headache.
At the start is a Spark Show With The 1
0:14 here we have 2 subway cars made by Bombardier

137 Street My Favorite Station
Oh, hey! I saw that exact 2 train when I was rushing to the 125th Street station after I just kinda lost hope on my school bus.
Renz-O would be nice but I think a lot of them are being converted to r188s for the CBTC on the 7
@@6secsofcj37 that’s R142As
Great nice work Dj Hammers
Didnt this 2 train go all the way up to 242nd St? I could have sworn i saw on subwaytime a 2 at 191
The D Subway Line should go to Grand Army Plaza on the 2 and 3 Subway Lines
Won't happen. Different division plus the IND letter trains are way too wide to fit on an IRT track and the platforms are way too small for an IND train.
Someone should make a track for the D train at Grand Army Plaza on the 2 and 3 Subway Lines.
Nice...when will you do more open bve videos

AlphaCentauriA1 very rarely
Jayce
Jayce
I don't like it when people try to get on a train ending
The 7 Subway Line should be Brighton Express.
The Franklin Shuttle Subway Line Should go Times Square on the Q Line.
Shut up
Why via EXP?
Nyc Subway guy because 1 trains using the Local track
So? The N,R and W trains all use the same track between times square and Lexington ave
@@nyctenthusiast3507 i know I'm like 5 years late but it was probably not to interrupt service on the 1 line, since it was going to short turn
That What The (9) Should Do When Its Running with the (1) not Saying The MTA Should Bring Back the (9).
RA Productions. That’s not gonna happen
I Know That.
Might as well be an express train for rush hour peak express train line service.
LOL

Again, if only the r142s were running on the 1 line more often.
TheNw1218 And what Line would swap the equipment? And DO NOT SAY from the 2/5 lines since they NEED R142s to quickly switch the signs at Flatbush Av.
TheRailLeaguer watch the attitude mister
@@TheRailLeaguer Well the N and W have r160s and r68s, and the signs be wrong on both of those lines too, so why not give the 2 and 5 r62as?
Raye Waddell Thats different because the N and W are internally considered a single service under the N designation. Also, they do the switching less often. They only do it if the operators schedule calls for it. The R68s are used when service is less frequent, usually during weekends.
With the 2/5, they are a different story. The two lines are independent internally and externally and do the switching very frequently. I’ve personally seen this before when trains pull into Flatbush as one service and change the signs before they open the doors. As for frequency, when the two lines share Flatbush, it’s always frequent. No joke there.
@@TheRailLeaguer Well, I guess you're right, but they both had Redbirds and a few r62as back then, so I'm sure that they had to switch signs on the 2/5 lines.
1 train is faster
