Dear Ganesh Raghavaji, thanks for showing Airavatheshwara temple of Kumbakonam. Temple premises was nice to see. Surprise to see Pushakarni in front of the temple only. Ardhanarishwara statue was nice. Ratha structure which was connected to temple was very attractive. Stories in Pillar was carved nicely. You told that temple has been built with a basement stone. We can see similar type of temples in Karnataka also. Few places are Chennakeshava temple of Belur, Eshwara temple of Halebidu , Shankaracharya temple of Sringeri, Somanatha temple of Somanathapura, near Mysuru . These temples are also built on stone base of 15 to 20 feet height. It is built in such a way that we can do Pradaskane in the stone and then enter the main temple. Painting and architecture was very nice to see. Steps carving architecture are also there in above mentioned Karnataka temples also. Natya Ganapathi was very attractive in the pillar. Thanks for telling the story that Airavatha Elephant removed his curse in this temple. It was also one of your best video you have showed. Wish you happy new year 2020.( Christian wise). I think you will celebrate your new year on April 14th ( Tamil new year/ Tamil Yugadhi).
