These remastered decks are really nostalgic and meant alot to me and Paddy. Fingers crossed for a Altmile and Ahsha stride set! Wow I never realized dovine blast reason for his crap skill and base power was that he was base 2 crit it's not everyday you get to see that since V. It's an interesting tech for nightrose and it worked flawlessly in the last turn to make every attack lethal, I definitely have to try it at 1 haha. Thank you for the fight video, was intense and enjoyable as always

Also, shouldn't the Heal Trigger have healed Protag up that moment where, you know, IT TRIGGERED?!

No. Protag's damage was 4, and Paddy's damage was 5 when the heal trigger was revealed during the drive check. Heal Trigger doesn't activate when your damage is lower than the opponent.

why would you p guard the 0ne critical at the end and not the 2 crit?

They both had two crit. Nightstorm got one from the trigger and the other has a base crit of 2.

@asimplenobody7797 The energy generator is a "ride deck crest"(meaning that if we get new ride deck crest, we'll have to choose between those and generator) while the crest is a "pseudo-card", somewhat akin to a token/marker. So we are allowed to use

Because there is now a specific deck called the ride deck and to access it, you have to discard

It's one of the new core mechanics in the new D series format
It's basically a cost to ride your desired grade from a seperate deck called a ride deck. Think ride lines like Tsukuyomi back in the day but far more consistent and outside of your regulated 50 card deck if i recall correctly
