Oh my gosh thank you for the tip on peeling ginger with a spoon! I've never seen that before and I usually use powder because the fresh is so expensive and it's hard to peel without wasting it! Fresh next time!!

The whole raw noodles with just the flavouring was definitely a thing when I was a kid growing up in Canada 15 years ago. You could trade a pack of Mr. Noodles at lunch time to anyone it was such a big deal.

Another banger. In Korea there's a dish called nakchi bokem. It's squid, fried with raw Ramen noodles. Spicy, savory, delicious. We would order it often after a night of drinking

As a kid in Maui we always ate dry ramen with the sauce pack broken up in a ziplock bag - best snack ever! This meal was legit!

Lol growing up in Hawai’i, we called it raw Saimin. And whoever brought it during recess was the popular kid.
Everyone in hawaii watching was probably thinking, “small those Samoan crabs” then that big boy came up. Then we was all like “yup dats da one.”

keep the claws. when you snap the crap give each half a good shake and the crap comes out. Also you can empty the pots out straight in to the water to save your effort

In Navajo Reservation we put in the sauce in the bag with crushed ramen noodles and eat, its good 👍 Your not the only one. 💯
We ate crunch noodles as a struggle meal. Now we eat them just because they’re good 😂

In Florida we have a very similar crab called a stone crab and the rules are that we can take the claws a certain way that causes the crab to release its claw without harm and then it can be released to re-grow them. They survive perfectly fine without them and biologists have confirmed that they fully regenerate their claws so the resource is more sustainable. It appears those crabs do the same thing so I’d encourage their biologists to look into it and perhaps institute the same kind of harvesting protocol.
First time hearing someone else who crushed up the noodles with the seasoning packet. Now I don’t feel alone lol

It's common in the south Pacific Islands for kids to snack on ramen with just seasoning cracked in the packet.
Eating raw noodles with the seasoning packet sprinkled on is a tasty snack ngl
