I have the 1984 STP shirt. almost every time I wear it to work, a customer or two will be like "ayyy Slaughter To Prevail kicks ass!" so I have actually met a lot of cool people just from wearing that shirt
I think stp is gonna hold the Torch for the biggest deathcore band for the next coming years. They are more accessible than Lorna shore and are only getting bigger.
I see this argument a lot both ways. Some say Lorna will be and some say Slaughter will be. I think they’re going to be the top 2 regardless! Like how Suicide Silence and Whitechapel were always tied back in the day. Alex is a modern day Phil Bozeman and Will is the modern day Mitch Lucker (not literally, just for comparison purposes!) Either way, both AMAZING bands that deserve every bit of success they have earned through the years! 🤘🏼
That's gonna be a lot of work. Cameron has put out so many EPs and albums and you also gotta talk about his metal side projects like the Dubslam / Slamstep project he had with Mitch Lucker for example. I would like Yan to make a vid about DTG though.
i found Alex back in 2016 on youtube right before Chapters of Misery and i knew that dude was gonna make waves. he already was on youtube alone just by posting covers. personally, i love their first album and especially their song “Hell.” however i’m also a huge Infant Annihilator fan and i can’t help but notice how it seems like they snagged the breakdown from IAs “Anal Prolapse Suffocation” and used it at the end of “Hell.”

Nice video, but I'd like to add that Viking hyped them up even more and even created memes because of his gutturals sounding like an alligator. This was another great impact and also screaming the breakdown words in this song's live performances , leaving everybody shocked by his loud voice.
I saw them live for the first time at Inkcarceration Festival in 2023 and Alex said I need a few moments of silence and then put the microphone down and screamed something before proceeding to pick up the microphone and bash it 5+ times off his forehead causing himself to bleed Edit: Wow I didn’t expect to see the clip from the show I was talking about used at 1:40
I found Slaughter To Prevail/Alex Terrible through Nik Nocturnal and Alex doing their collaboration song, Obscurity, then RUclips recommended VIKING, then Demolisher and Baba Yaga and that was what got me hooked. Got a gold mask on the way.

Chek out a track "Euthanasia" for example, nice song)
He is absolutely a god tier vocalist on the same level as will ramos and dickie allen who I personally think are the 3 best vocslist in the scene right now.
