Very intresting seeing spike and Paul for the first time. I'm a new listener to spikes car radio but long time listener of tst. Thanks for this episode.
I'm a huge Spike's Car Radio fan and think Spike should tape their podcasts too, though Zuckerman may need to start liking stogies to get within range of Spike
My favorite show along with smoking tire . You all are first class professionals! Was looking to post a question/ request advice to Spike and the gang regarding Porsche CPOS. I have ran into an issue with a Porsche dealer in South Florida that may be relevant to Porsche shoppers and the CPO market. Particularly dealers selling Porsches with cpos with prior accidents not disclosed prior to sale.
I'm looking forward to your new GT review. Personally can't wait for the next Gen V8S with Sports exhaust. Worried European emissions will make it sound quieter even with sports exhaust.
That scissor discussion made me think of the Bond 750i with the wire cutter on the bonnet. Also that Porsche mule looks like it has t a 2 element wing, were the second element is folded up in these shots. Its probably a DRS (F1 calls it that) type of a thing. In normal mode its up to reduce drag and folds down in track mode or something.
Is there a name for the concept Spike brings up at 1:02:11? Basically the not wanting something you've had a part in creating because you know all the ins-and-outs of what it took to get the finished product?
The 2.7L from the Bronco isn't going to come in manual AND for long term ownership those 2.7Ls have turbo and water pump problems that are PRICEY. Manual 2.3L is the way to go
@@jason91notch the issue with the water pump is it is an engine out replacement since it's driven by the timing chain. Not really a "fixable" thing. I see them leak with 40k-70k miles all the time even on well maintained cars.
Hear me now and believe me later - the bi-plane wing on the GT3 RS mule is active. The upper flap will open/close against the main wing to reduce drag/increase down force, respectively.
I'm not triggered by declawing your car but expecting your cat to be greatful for "everything you've done for them" eventhough you don't let it go outside? I understand that in many places you can't let them go outside, that's fine, you can make it work if you really want or need to. The only "asshole" cats I ever met were ones which were kept inside, the smaller or nastier the place was, the worse the cats behavior. The only exceptions were cats which were clearly fed at least 2-3 times as much as a cat should eat. My cat probably got more than 60,000 miles on it, most relaxed cat I ever met, it would have become an absolute monster if I didn't let it roam outside and kept it in a small apartment. Doesn't matter how big your house is, unless you live in Will Smiths' mansion and turn it into a playhouse with cat trees everywhere or something it's not a great environment for a cat. If you want to keep them happy they probably need companions and daily exercise, and if you're laughing about your cat and tricking it during playtime then you might make things worse. When your cat scratches something in front of you it wants to flex and show off, show you it's strength, if you react by shouting at it or worse then you're doing it wrong. Cats are extremely strong, apparently they can tear your face off. Your cat kills rats and snakes if they enter your house, it might save your children from dogs, I don't think cats want to be alive just to be petted, so reacting disappointed and angry when it's trying to show you that it's strong and can protect you would be confusing... You could have just found something it likes to scratch, there's tons of cheap or free furniture in the internet. I understand it's easier said than done but you said you love it so much and you've done so much for it, in that case it's such a small favour to ask of you. I'm not judging you for treating it badly, many people do, it just triggers me if you claim you're treating your cat well when in reality you have no idea about cats. You claim you love it so much? Yet you don't love it enough to do some google research to find out how to make it happy? That doesn't sound right does it? I don't know everything about cats either but if I run into an issue I make sure I do EVERYTHING I can to solve it. You can't expect your cat to be greatful about some BS like paying money for a vet... I met a few cats which lived in an horrible environment but didn't behave horribly, all of them were extremely overweight so it seems like when you actually do something meaningful for your cat like feeding it every few seconds they will be greatful.
@@stefan-stocksmadesimple5241 well 1 Matt said he's friends with Joe because he doesn't ask him for anything. 2 Joe has said on his podcast he doesn't like doing other podcasts because it's not worth his time and he'd rather just have people on his
Zuckerman is a savage, he cracks me up - I'll never forget his first time on TST saying something like "we'll all die at the hands of idiots" lol
"So are you gonna win?"
"Me versus a cat? come on!"
This is one of my favorite episodes in a while, awesome job guys
Genuinely excited for Matt, this might be the best thing that's happened to him, this cool business and this amazing podcast studio!
18:29 "Landed balls first onto a piece of rebar" hahahaha
Spike’s Jerry impression is spot on!
Spike's impression of Zuckerman is so damn funny
Zuckermans story about attorneys and the courtroom was GREAT!
Very intresting seeing spike and Paul for the first time. I'm a new listener to spikes car radio but long time listener of tst. Thanks for this episode.
OMG my favorite auto podcasters mention the Pixies. My life is complete.
13:51 I wish Zack would cut to the screen so us audience can relate more to what Matt was pointing at. Either way, hilarious show!
It's weird to see Paul and spike speak, so used to only hearing their voices.
Love the podcast
These guys are a riot lol I see why Matt talks about them all the time, seems like a good time
Zuckerman is a legend. He could be a character in a movie.
after only listening to Zuck for so long, I had a very different image of what he looked like in my head (older guy). zuckerman looks like he reps 245
It's so weird! I've been listening to their pod for a while and I was convinced Zuck was an older dude. I pictured a white haired guy in his 60s.
I'm a huge Spike's Car Radio fan and think Spike should tape their podcasts too, though Zuckerman may need to start liking stogies to get within range of Spike
After listening the Pebble beach flight anecdote, had to search for something else from those fellas
Amazing and hilarious stories, kudos from Spain
This was one of the funniest episodes in a while. I haven't laughed this hard in a while in general.
Paul Zuckerman is so great!
This is such a great episode.
A magical trio.
Thanx
I just want to hear Zuckerberg talk about all his stories doesnt even have to be about cars.
Zuckerman looks exactly like I pictured him....wearing exactly what I imagined him wearing. To a T.
I need to watch this every couple weeks to maintain a strong Z-bito

This is going to be good. Love both podcasts guys. Keep it up!

Wow does Zuckerman have a face for radio! 😂
I came here for Zuckerman.....sorry Matt .......

Yay for Hayes coming back for an episode!
Zack, the joke game was 🔥
Yo I didn’t even know Zack was on the sticks until he chimed in with “you wanted to represent the cat of course” 😂
this was a great show love it
This was fantastic show !

Are they using the same 2.3L as the focus ST/RS?
@@guenthersteiner8163 I believe it's the Ranger and non-performance Mustang Ecoboost. The Focus RS 2.3L and Mustang EcoPerf are a bit different.
the first 2.7's had issues, but it sounds like they got them ironed out for the most part.

GT4 Clubsport MR wing looks crazy
what is the model of the chairs in the studio ?
It's 5:00 somewhere?
