I am super excited to share these 6 easy to make birthday cards for kids. I had a blast making them, and I know you will absolutely love making them too! And, I can guarantee the recipient will get a smile on their face when they receive these fun zoo-themed cards!
At first glance, these look like birthday cards for kids, but don’t be afraid to make them for anyone! When I created them I was really on a mission to make a card for my adult daughter! She is still “my kid” and I know she is going to giggle when she receives her card in the mail!
We have a dancing tiger, a knitting llama, a skunk with a bird on its head, a cycling alligator, a bear playing the accordion, and a singing turtle… how could anyone not adore these creatures!
These cards are super easy to make because the main image is actually cut from Designer Series Paper. Stampin’ Up! outdid themselves with the Zoo Crew DSP because there are so many fun images that you can either cut out with the coordinating dies or grab your favorite pair of scissors and do some fussy cutting.
I came up with six simple card designs to paste these adorable animals on! I’ll walk you through how I made one of the designs in this video, and then you can find the directions for the other five card designs on my blog. Mix and match the different animal images on any of the card designs and you’ll be creating fun cards nonstop!

I'm happy you found me and thanks for watching! I do share a lot of projects that don't involve dies and extra products. One of my favorite stamping methods is to stamp with a SIP - Stamps, Ink, and Paper! So hopefully you'll be able to get some good ideas from me that don't require the extra products.

Yeah, there's not really a good stamp for that. But you could get creative with the stamp set Enjoy the Rhythm - it has a good saying and music notes that I could envision a fun dance card for!

Very cute cards but I was wondering does that suite come with a dive for the hippopotamus ballerina or does it have to be fussy cat out
For the ballerinas, the die cut is only for the cat. The hippo would need to be fussy cut.

Yes they are! There is the curtain die and the curtain tie-back die.
