You always know exactly what I need to paint! Lol my friend asked for several cards to have on hand and I've been running out if ideas. Finally had a chance to sit down & watch this & I'm so excited to paint tomorrow!!
These are wonderful to have on hand when the time tip toes up on you. And the time seems to sneak up on me almost every year. :(

These are wonderful. You have got me painting again. It’s interesting how I can follow along and do exactly what you do, yet mine look different. I think each person has their own way of handling the brush and paint and water. Working with you sparked an old memory of my mother drawing bunnies for us children to help us sit still and quiet. They were very unique. I’m doing an Easter card based on her method. Of course mine look different. Thank you for what you do.
Thank you; I needed to make 6 cards quickly: this is perfect! Hard not to 'fuss' with it and add shading etc.. It still looks great and works for what I needed.

Had to laugh when you were talking about cake colors. My grandson's 5th birthday cake was his design... a blue cake, with Mickey Mouse being chased by sharks. It was a beautiful shade of blue, with Mickey's head, mainly nose and ears, and his tail, and 5 shark fins following him. Bubbles and all, it was so pretty, we hated to cut it, but it was delicious!

Thanks for this video Ellen. I love your videos, they are about paintings that are pretty easy to reproduce, and anything challenging you show and explain to us. You make is so easy for even a total noob like me to do. Only one thing was an issue on this video; your voice went from very loud to almost silent, off and on, over and over all throughout the video, and I found that a little bit distracting; but other than that it was great. You are a very good teacher and your soothing voice is so relaxing and inspires me to believe I can do what you do. From a fan in South Wales. UK.
