Fun Fold Card Class: Learn To Make This Month's Template : Grab some old card stock, and Designer Series Paper, and let's make the templates for these fun fold cards. Nothing needs to match, as the templates are to create and use later. These templates are designed so you can use them with any stamps, ink, and paper!
You will want to start a "shoebox" to store the templates in as each month we will make 4 new ones. I know you are going to love this new monthly class!
In the video, I showed the cards that I made using the templates and using the 'Cup of Tea' stamp set, dies, and Tea Boutique DSP. Oh my goodness--do I love this suite of products.
But remember--the class is all about making the templates. I hope you use this free class video and create them. Simple to start and stop the video to catch all the cutting, scoring, and measurements.

Dave is the best sidekick ever… that pounding technique is just a Dave thing!!!. Love the clarity in explanation and detailed measurement. The only reason I sometimes get pdfs is because it goes by so fast, but with this method I think it is AWESOME!

This is the clearest instruction for fold cards I have ever seen! Such a great idea for using templates to guide a crafter! I love clarity in all instructions. I learned somethings I didn't know about scoring and measuring with a cutter.

Cute. Basic. You don't give your husband enough credit, and you are too worried about your glue for just making a template. You need to give him some slack, he's a great sidekick, you thought so when you married him. Great tutorial, though. Easy to follow. Good idea to write the sizes on the template.

Jackie...so awesome. Love this video and this idea so much (making templates and keeping them in your "creative stash")! Dave, you did an awesome job, and you made it so easy to follow!
Gluing tip : I have a trick to keep liquid glue from squeezing out. I use a pinkie finger of my non dominant hand to tape the glue down before you turn the piece over and press it down. I keep a wet wipe to clean my finger off as soon as I am done with gluing.

I have started watch your videos with Dave. He is so funny about amazing. His technique with glue than his pounding on the card, is to die for. Yes, Dave!! Please come back again!! Jackie, this makes keeping the ideas so much easier. I have a massive number of written instructions with drawings and as many Word documents with pictures, instructions and downloads I have purchased. But holding the actual card in your hand cannot be beat. Thank you for making it so easy! I made the templates along with Dave, starting and stopping the video as I needed, and that worked out wonderfully. I could not believe how quickly the accordion fold went together!!! Thank you, thank you, Jackie! And I cannot wait for next month's lessons!

Thank you so much. I have been working with my friend who had a stroke. She loves making cards and it is goo therapy for her. We have been going through a lot of different ideas from different demonstrators. I do this with her once a week. I had lost my ideas for fresh new cards, then your video popped up in my feed. I called my husband in to watch this! He's never even been in my craft room so seeing a guy help make a card was a new experience for him. We both agree Dave is a great sport and also a very good card crafter! Dave made it look like so much fun that I bet if I made a crafting video (which I won't), he'd agree to be my assistant!
