Senior citizens aged 70 or more , having pension income n interest income should be exempt from payment of income tax because with such meagre income they have to incur huge expenses for old aged ailments throughout the year.
But the age limit is 75 years

सरकार ने बुजुर्गों का जो जीवन के अंतिम पड़ाव पर चल रहे हैं उनको भी कोई अलग से छूट नहीं दिए बहुत दुख है आदरणीय नेताजी बुजुर्गों का तो ध्यान रखना चाहिए था आपको । एक दिन आप भी बुड्ढे होंगे और आप भी फिर देखेंगे कितनी तकलीफ हो रही है। इस बजट में अपने बुजुर्गों का बिल्कुल भी ख्याल नहीं रखा है इससे हमें बहुत दुख होरहा है।

Interest on bank deposits must be exempted but it is not salary or pension who are deposited certain amounts for their needs so it is also help to banks to gain other income onits deposits so interest amounts. on deposits must be exempted .

30% का स्लैब 20 लाख से ऊपर होना चाहिए। सीनियर सिटीजन 75 बर्ष से उपर टैक्स फ्री होना चाहिए। bjp के राज में कर्मचारी रोते रहते हैं लगता है भीख मांग रहे हैं। मंत्री सांसद विधायक को असीमित सुविधाएं में 50% कटौती होना चाहिए।इनकी योग्यता और उम्र पर भी स्पष्ट निर्देश होना चाहिए।इनकी पैंसन तुरंत बंद हो।जब कर्मचारी को नहीं तो इनको क्यों। सांसद विधायक कोटा बंद करो।सब काम जिला योजना से हो।

Sr citizens got zero relief in this budget, neither in income tax nor in rly.concession, absolutely thumbs down budget for this segment.What you have explained is for all normal tax payers not specific for sr. ctzn.There are lacs of non pensioner sr.ctzn. who earn only interest on FDs.

Income tax slabs are not positive for middle class. Govt has done injustice with middle class and previously also middle class was burdened with tax. Businessman those who are profiting more than Rs 25000/_ per month in cash will not pay any tax whereas they are supposed to pay . Govt should look into all these type of loopholes. Further in my suggestion there shouldn't be any income tax upto Rs 700000/_ per annum.
