Okay, I'm actually getting annoyed that they need to reread what was said literally 5 seconds ago because they just happened to not have listened to what they just said. Is this to be an ongoing thing? I understand being confused, but you are literally not paying attention to a point. Neither of you were even talking. I'm just saying. The improvements in Halo ODST when you solod heroic was greater than most play in the series as well as that training for aiming in Doom Eternal than it was at the beginning. You shouldn't be questioning literally seconds after something was being heard, when subtitles are on.
It's called information overload. I just made it up and it's self-explanatory. Forgetting the story's details right after you read it is a sign of cognitive exhaustion.
You honestly have no idea what its like to be streaming/recording while playing a video game. Theres a sense of urgency to everything and a game that's so story heavy like this, you're constantly trying to fight over what to put your attention to, whether its subconscious or not. You're on autopilot during most of the game and the fact that they can banter while playing a game is a lot harder than it looks. I dunno if you realize how often we sit in silence while playing a game. Recording takes part of your attention from it.
@@SoraMotto Yes, I do. I understand the stress and distractions, and priorities that go on during streaming and recording. The problem is that the constant redoing of what is being reread when they are being destracted by the game itself being played, when they are paying attention specifically to the game. Any and all blunders are understandable. This is former sbfp where blunders are expected and even moreso forgiven. In fact, if all the redoing was for taking notes, then I'd be completely onboard because that is how they cognitively keep up. But when you have to make sure that Onishi is onishi the first time he was introduced or that when you redo the script and specifically go over tomi and miwako deciding what food they were deciding to eat, it comes across heavily not as making sure you heard what you heard, nor recalling what you have missed. Further in the gameplay, woolie goes on about personalities of characters matching their goals and gets obsessed with 2 depictions out of 6 on how 2 of them do not match when none of the 6, which is actually 9 do not, and completely glosses over the in game reason why, while combing every replay he can to confirm his suspicions, and gives up because he thinks he's thinking too much and the writers just didn't consider it, when, again, there is an in game reason for it. Again, its not that they do it at all, but when they literally stop to comprehend, and recheck what they are talking about, over the game itself explaining it directly AND contradicting it based on nothing. I'm not expecting perfection at all, but that if they are distracted, they go over it, and not go over nothings when they are watching. I don't think I've said anything absurd or too much. In fact, I believe my bitching is extremely tame. Mind you, this is coming from a guy who has on multiple occasions, skimmed walls of text for correct puzzle entries, and correctly piece together mysteries faster than the skim. Not saying he needs to stay king of speed reafing god, but when you actually begin contradicting the story based on the hair color of two considered the same characters as fact in story based game, until explained later, maybe just slow your roll a bit.
