They've probably already figured it out, but if you're new; You don't have to do the battles literally consecutively to get the Win Streak. It just goes until you either lose, or hit the 'Rest' option.
At school someone ive never met before came up and greeted me like we were long time friends and asked if I remembered him and knew his name. I had never seen that person before or heard of their name but it seemed like alternate universe me made a cool friend.
Lakumy one of my friends on the first day of high school walked up to someone he'd never met and acted like they knew each other and pretended that they used to be friends before becoming friends for real, all just to mess with him. Guy still doesn't know the truth to this day.

Just beat it today and even got the platinum... boy it goes places. It is definitely a fantastic sci-fi story and I am sure some revelations will break Woolie's brain... but based on Woolie's current pace, I don't know how long it will be before he gets to them.

So, I know Woolie is much further than this by now, and I doubt he's going to be looking at comments much here for sake of spoilers, but for anyone who plans to pick up this game, here's the biggest tip I can give: Get that max score multiplier up, and keep it up! That means never, ever break your streak with a recover (if you need a character back, just do an easy stage, which helps your multiplier anyway), buy all the meta-system upgrades that boost score (you can buy them all immediately if you advance as far as you possibl can in Rememberance before doing any Destruction with money to spare on weapons and Neuro-Link upgrades, which you'll want to put a couple points on everyone so they can last an extra fight), and use the skill that lets those points multiply even further as much as you can. Getting your score up gives you more mystery points. Eventually, you'll get enough MP to unlock everything. After that point, all earned MP converts into a SHITLOAD of memory chips after you clear a stage. I no shit had 50 MP left over by the time I unlocked everything in the Mystery Files that can be unlocked with a point. Which gave me like a million chips immediately.
How do you recover characters without doing a recover when every battle increases their BOL gauge? And at the start of the game, each pilot can only do 2 battles
@@Flackon When someone is out of commission die to the gauge being full, it empties after the next battle you do, even of you just redo a previous one.
Here's the biggest tip *I* can give: the game is in no way hard enough that you need to play optimally. Just do whatever you want (but chip and score multipliers should be an early upgrade priority)
I would highly suggest doing Remembrance before doing anything else. The amount of meta chips you get from doing that, I unlocked the level caps before I even touched this game type.
More importantly, it gives you enough to max out the score boosts, which gives you more mystery points, which, eventually, lets you get even more chips even faster.

The pacing is better if you do them roughly evenly, and doing so while focusing on score and metachip boosters initially will mean you're never lacking for either throughout the rest of the game. Though do note that "roughly evenly" means "keeping Destruction around 10% higher than remembrance."

Demolisher blades? Please, Sentry Guns + Interceptors + Shield Matrix. Never ever move a unit from their starting position until the very last mission and walk away from the game. Every single mission will be done well before time limit too.
@@Kasaaz to be real I played on Intense because I wanted some more interactivity, but sentrys and interceptors are still really good . you just also have to focus down big guys and some of the Chapter ends are HUGE bitches

When I was on vacation in the States my dad and I went to see a baseball game. It was a rather relaxed event but it really felt rather slow and we did not see all of it because the game went on for longer than expected and we then were under time pressure.
Upgrading that one ability took the damage from 2,880 (80x36) to 3,154 (83x38), not that big of an upgrade. I'd suggest waiting until you get more abilities and a huge ton of cash to get into upgrading. New and additional abilities are usually better than stronger ones.
I mean in this game that statement actually holds water as it is a last resort to use when it getting swarmed and none of your pilots are close enough or ready to take an action

Sentry Guns are so OP in most missions, until suddenly they aren't anymore, at least in Intense. Normal mode that's all you need to beat everything...
