I can't tell you how many reaction videos i've seen for this song. So many of them just kind of gloss over the "the riff". This guy gets it. As soon as "the riff" comes out, he smiles and groves to it. he gets it. Great reaction.

That was the first phase of Megadeth. Garth Samuelson was an amazing drummer. He's been gone 21 yrs. R.I.P. Garth.
His name was Gar (Gary), not Garth.
He's one of my drumming heroes, a unique and talented musician. R.I.P my friend, you are missed.
@@evyatarhadar8325 Gar was so special... Loose af approach to drumming, and still he was tight as all hell. Him and Tom Hunting are my drumming heroes.
Some of their newer stuff is as kickass as the older stuff here. His voice has aged, of course, but he can still shred. I suggest the official 1-2 videos of 'The Threat is Real' and 'Dystopia.' from their latest album 'Dystopia' if you have not yet already reacted to them. They won a metal Grammy for 'Dystopia.'

@jesse noneofyobussines ummm, not sure what you mean by precursor, as Sanctuary formed in 1985, 6 years before Nevermore? Nevermore is certainly worthy of checking out, but they aren't Sanctuary... They're more Prog than Power.
@@TheRustyGuitarist unless you're thinking of a different band. Sanctuary- lead vocals: Warrel dane. Nevermore was their first band same members lead singer Warrel dane ( Rest in peace ) iconic metal revolutionary singer he broke the record Rob Halford set for highest note.
@jesse noneofyobussines bro, I grew up on Sanctuary, they formed in 1985. They released their first album Refuge Denied in 1987, which was produced by Dave Mustaine, who did a guest solo for their cover of White Rabbit.
Nevermore was formed in 1991, yes with Warrel Dane and Jim Sheppard, both of which were in Sanctuary. However, Nevermore was a new project that included Jeff Loomis, and other new members. They didn't release their first album until 1995.
