Looks great guys! I'm seeing less time per repair, and that means a lot when your in lots, jumping from job to job. THX for the C port too. Excited!!

what was the white cream you added to clean that up and does that come with my new VANISH™ Professional Windshield Repair Kit that I just ordered today?

Terry - That is our Pit Gloss polishing compound and yes you get a bottle of it in your Vanish kit.

@@gtglass ok thanks, I have that now, but what color is the bottle for the pit filler?

What's the big difference between the Glas Weld Zoom and the Vanish system, both look really good.

Billy Minton Great question. Both systems are state-of-the-art in terms of injector technology. Similar vacuum and pressure capabilities. What you get with the Vanish, however, is our patented DarkCure technology. The DarkCure UV curing system is built directly into the bridge so no need to carry around a separate UV light. Curing times are under 15seconds, by far the fastest in the industry and the ultra high intensity of DarkCure actually eliminates the need for a pit square/curing tab.

If it eliminates the need for a curing tab, why is one used in the demo video above? Is there any solution for chips near the corner or edges of the glass where the suction cups would prevent the standard setup, or is the assumption if it's in a location like this, it is unrepairable anyway?Looks like a great product, we have one of the Zoom kits and like it, but this one seems like it might've refined some of the nuisances we've encountered with it.

Hey @@matttyler8331 , great questions! We used a curing tab in the video because we're working on a resin tip to spread out the pit filler in a thin layer. The DarkCure system definitely cures fully through the pit filler drop without a tab, but it takes a while to scrape away the large bubble of pit filler unless you are able to spread it thinly. 90% of repairs are done without the need to get near a corner or edge, and often breaks that are that close tend to crack out anyway. However, we've got a corner/edge/vertical glass adapter that will be releasing shortly after the Vanish Systems in April. Give us a shout at 970-247-9374 if you have any other questions!

So only 1 cycle is needed with the vanish?

Pretty sweet. I just replaced the windshield of my 2018 Prius (over $1k, $500 with insurance) because of a large crack that grew within minutes. Had it only been a chip I would want this tech to fill in the pit.
One question, what is the added value of using a pressurized system ave two applications of the resin when one application with s tab could have netted similar results? This is fascinating and I'd like to know more about the science behind it.

Pressure and vacuum are key to consist and efficient results. The process of pulling the trapped air from the break is key to allowing the resin to follow into the break much easier. Secondly, GT Tools does recommend a filling resin based on the temperature you are working in and a capping resin the seals off the repair.

I mean it seems nice but what do you do if you have a chip on the very edge of the glass when you using a large tripod system like this? And why do you spend nine minutes on a video and rush to the end result? I’m not trying to be difficult but it seems like it needs more work as far as re-positioning where the resin would be placed and having more options to move it with maybe a bridge system just in case you get a chip on the very edge next To the molding, which is rare but it does occasionally happen. Otherwise it seems pretty good
