If Yara had a RUclips channel about computer biology, I would subscribe immediately. She really is a cool scientist and a fun person, the perfect mix to an awesome channel. Amazing video! Greetings from Mexico!
I'm a computer engineer working in controls who can't stop reading biology texts and I've been looking for a way to change my career while still programming. You could have just changed my whole life. Thank you so much for this insightful and entertaining video
I love computational biology - I watch the ibiology techniques on youtube. It's so fun to turn real world applications to programming - as you're teaching a computer reality, which allows me to learn better, by having myself explain and work with the info I'm on.
Thanks for making this video! You asked a lot of great questions and Yara gave a lot of great answers! This was incredibly helpful since I’m transitioning to this field.
What are the packages we need to start learning? I came across biopython but have never used it. In the video did you mention "zeta, node pyroxeta" as your referred computational biology modules?
Hey Megan, loved this video. Definitely subscribing. Wanted to ask for your opinion, so I’m coming from a complete biology/medicine background and I’d like to go for further studies in the field of computational biology or bioinformatics but I’m worried cause I have no coding and computer science background. Any advice?
alternate vid title: Megan attempts to keep a straight face for 16 minutes and fails miserably
