- If you've ever ordered something from China, it probably came in a box completely wrapped in yellow tape. Here's how they do it. I'm pretty sure this isn't this guy's first time.

I didn't think anything interesting was going to happen and then BAM, the guy went ham with the tape.
wandering_goat You want the ham? *Boom*. Ham.

it's not a good idea to wrap a parcel with this much tape if it is being delivered within the country. However, if it's being put together with thousands of other parcels and going oversea, then the best way to wrap is this method as it's also waterproof.
Why would it be a bad idea?
I work with logistics and wish all domestic carton shipements were fully wrapped in plastic. Then I wouldn't have to hear my customers cry over soggy boxes in the slushy winter times where the floors of the delivery cars get wet and the parcels on the floor obviously gets wet.
Also parcels wouldn't break open as easily during sorting and transporting. Bad for the environment great for shipping!

That package would survive tha apocalypse
😂
@@hazeylulu 🤣
They tape it like that because these boxers are going to other countries so they need the boxes to be a little tougher and water proof
Ohh, yes didn't realize the waterproof part
Who asked?
@@arvindnair8449 there will be a lot of people who get offended by wasted tapes when watching this video
@@arvindnair8449 knowone cares who asked a lot of people wonder y they do that
Yeah, a little tougher. That's a good joke.
I used to work in an automotive company which regularly received shipment of heavy metal parts from China. The Chinese were the only ones using pallets made of PLYWOOD. By the time the parts finally got into Europe the pallets always rurned into a pile of splinters.
if that was my box? I'd be glad they tape it all in case it may open.
Fun fact: The technical name for it is BOPP Biaxially Oriented Polypropylene tape.
The Chinese understand the importance of having a great package.
Friend asked me how to tape a box for mailing, showed him this video. I expect nothing less than this from him now
I Don't Know Why But I Kept Laughing So Hard When He Wrap It So Fast
I used to package for a Chinese company in Germany. We also packaged like this for international shipping
My nephew got a package from my folks 4 Xmas.
He asked my bro: "Who's it from?"
"Look closely."
"Ah, I see. From Grandpa!" (Because of all the tape.)
Neither of them has gotten something packed like this. I have a couple times. It's quite impressive. Especially the speedy method in which he used. I sure AF couldn't do it.
When an unboxing video takes 2 days
That is some next level taping
Came here to learn how to annoy friends and family with my Christmas packages. 📦
My sister wraps presents like this so you have to rip the wrapping paper.
i guess it rains a lot on the boat from china. thx for taping it up so good. too bad the forklift driver impaled it lol!
The guy who owns the tape factory is quite rich now . They send out billions of boxes of tape a week , and they wrap them all in tape , the man who owns the factory that makes the tape that they wrap the tape in is very very rich . They send out trillions of boxes of tape a week , and they wrap them all in tape......
You literally repeated your self lmfao had me confused as to what I read
Trump on Chinese imports
If they are that worried about water damage, there are cheaper and faster ways to do it than a whole roll of packing tape. Like shrink-wrap. We use that on our dock. It's thicker than tape, sticks to itself and you can cover a box in far less time.
Shrink wrap will not make it through multiple shipping facilities. It gets ripped off on automated belts.
Yeah, you bellend. Get educated.
They should really get some water activated paper tape then they wouldn’t have to use nearly so much tape.
bruh is asian dude we dont now water activated paper all we know all duck tape are same :V
Very relaxing watching this
I have never, ever received a package from China tape packed like this.
I would have hurt my hips doing that. He did it efficiently
Is there some sort of shady kickback deal going on with packing tape suppliers in China?
It feels like they're not satisfied unless they use an entire roll per package
And now I know how did they do it !! :P
On this episode on How It's Made!
10 people got their mouths taped shut for disliking the video.
Where can I find that tape? Link please

ZGREEED taśma tańsza
dude went full send lmao
Why would you need that much tape? What are they packaging, heroin?
The package goes through other countries so they want to make it tough and water proof
+Firealarm102 and also heroin?
+David C no
They ship these across the globe, it will jump between many sorting obstacles on its way to the end costumer. These tape covered packages are ingenious for their durability, the extra layer protects the cardboard from damp.
It needs to be tsunami proof
Cool. Kind of expected it to be automated
but why? looks like a massive waste of time and resources to me...
Martin Brochhaus I can only assume that they're used to seeing very rough treatment, and this ensures that it's effectively impossible for the box to be pierced in transit.
at least it gets a bit water resistant and maybe it's such a big hassle for customs officers to open them that they tend to skip them?
I suppose it creates quite a tamper proof parcel. Very cool technique.
So that's why AliExpress packages always look like bundles of cocaine.
sniff..sniff.. Ahhh..I smell Aliexpress and BangGood packages!!
In China they dont have CV, they use USB with video clips of factory work.
so this is how they wrap my boxes from China.
Can they not use another packing device for this that covers more area?
Much easier on the back if you do it on a table
Where can I buy this China tape?
One tape roll is about 10 cents over there, so....
Omg, when i first ordered my aolong v2, a rubiks cube, it came like this. Without a card board box. And under it was an inch thick layer of bubble wrap. No joke.
Can't wait till my items come
Where can I purchase the tape they are using?
Do they have a word that is the equivalent to “conservation”? Or “dumbass”? Hmm... makes ya wonder.
I came here bc I just got a package I paid $10 (free shipping) for that was wrapped like this lol wow
Cekawe czy tak samo szybko bedzie obracal pacze wazaca 30kg, bo do tylu kilo biora paczki dhl
What tape dispenser are they using?
Maybe it is Deli 801 from Aliexpress
why not use shrink-wrap !!?? ugh
Why do chinese seal every package they ship with those tape? I've received hundreds of boxes from china and every one was sealed with that yellow tape!
Alwats wondered how they do it . I get DHL like this all the time
Seems like a lot of effort, but why????
What's the point of all that if they don't use a tape squeegee?
I tape the printed shipping label papers on my packages too. Because cello tape is water proof, and you can write anything on cello tape that you can take on easily too.
why?
Jak coś jest głupie ale działa, to znaczy że nie jest głupie.
i bet they do this to piss of the buyer xD
It'll take you 12 hours to unwrap that.
Lol, you don't have to remove all the tape from the box
Not today corona virus
What a waist....Have nobody ever mentioned the environment???

How to waste plastic tutorial
... ummm... its... CHINA... lol they don't cry about things like that there bro nor will they sympathize with you.
Why do they do this to be jerks?
They should do that twice for extra support. Lol. If their going to do it that way the tape should be made 6" wide or more.
This is such a waste of time. Why not just vaccuum seal the boxes?
Hm 🗿
That's really slow compared to that Indian guy
