Nice touch. It reminded me of what I saw, those 1800s drawings depicting imperialism where there is an octopus that have a tight grip of other colonized countries using its tentacles. (Sorry for the eng).
The octopus represents a cartoon of UK/US, the way that the octopus is represented is how UK controls economically and politically a country. Also US with the American banana company that was a way of control a country by economic power then that became into a political control. Paradox doing a wonderful job. i wonder what parts of the map are being reworked, I'd like to see more indigenous land in NA in 1836 but I don't think that's what they're doing this time, maybe they're redoing Central Asia, and splitting up Afghanistan?
They need to fix some of the Canadian provinces for sure, no PEI, buggy confederation, and no way to gain Newfoundland from the UK without going to war.
