Apologies for the late comment.
I wouldn't have expected this outcome, the Ninetail Malgam being one that's not malicious and actually wanted to help it's home even if it had to play the role of a villain was super interesting (and I'm biased cause fox deity shrine makes me think of Geats). I love that Renge got to do an actually effective version of that star attack, followed by Houtarou doing it as well as the finisher kick.
Definitely hope this isn't the last we see of Hoshino and Kajiki as a duo, I wish we could get like a series of side specials culminating in Kajiki either doing alchemy with the Occult chemies or maybe even becoming a temporary Kamen Rider.

yeah, been thinking and this malgam feels like this seasons version of a "good guy monster" like the burger time one from ex-aid. its just this one did it by being 'bad'
i mean kajiki is back in the next episode and hes great in it, just hope we get to see his new part time job.
This episode had a lot of things that I found interesting namely how the Maine monster of the episode had a much more interesting motivation for it's actions that isn't just the monster is evil like what this show has been doing for the most part I find that to be perfectly fine but it's nice seeing the formula being messed with you know also it's nice seeing Renge getting some character focus but that's a given mainly due to the fact that she hasn't gotten that much
I wonder if this is going to be our typical one good monster trope of a season. I mean it fits because most of the Malgum have just taken advantage of and have the one good monster be the one that chooses to do good is interesting.

Ghost floating around was cool in the Drive movie but i understand why he doesn't in the show proper, as it would be costly for the budget.
The Ninetail Malgam was rather creepy but nice to see one that's non-malicious.
Speaking of Ninetail; the Malgam sounded male but the card seemed female :3

I bet it put on the creepy a little bit more to make sure they would go and fight it . Really hamming up the bad guy vibes to make sure the hero gets to where they need them to be

This was a nice conclusion of the two episode arc, and i like how this malgam had a good intention (also i have no idea if ninetails was the fox spirit or if it bonded with the spirit)
